WWE Smackdown Recap (7/3) - Shinsuke Nakamura Beat Kofi Kingston

We come back to a recap of Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt’s exchange the last couple of weeks as they ready for the Wyatt Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules in two weeks.

Kofi Kingston and Big E came out for a match with Shinsuke Nakamura after the commercial break.

Interesting enough, Cesaro came out first to his music when Nakamura is competing. It was probably a glitch or something like that.

Kingston starts the match off with a drop kick on Nakamura as soon as the bell rang, and hit with a series of kicks, not giving Nakamura a chance to get started.

Nakamura’s efforts to fight back were halted with a drop kick that sent him to the floor.

Nakamura waited for Kingston to come out of the ring after Nakamura moved out of the way and Kingston halted, and Nakamura took control.

Cesaro popped Kingston when the referee wasn’t looking and took a shot from Big E. Big E then chased him, but the referee turned around and kicked big E from ringside. When Cesaro applauded the referee’s decision, he was booted as well

We’re back and Nakamura has Kingston in a reverse hold, but Kingston tried to fight his way out of it. Nakamura flipped him over and hit with a knee for a near fall.

With Kingston dangling in the ropes, Nakamura flipped him over and tried for a pin but his legs were under the ropes and the official waved his cover off.

Kingston fought his way out of a corner, but a back elbow off the ropes ended his flourish.

Kingston continues to fight back, and bought himself some breathing room following a flying forearm off the ropes, but Nakamura got his knees up when Kingston tried to him with a splash. Kingston reversed the pin attempt but Nakamura kicked out.

Kingston reversed a suplex and hit with his SOS but Nakamura kicked out. Nakamura kicked out once more after a double knee strike.

Nakamura revered a Trouble in Paradise into a sleeper hold, then raked Kingston’s eyes before hitting him with a running knee for the win.

With the match over, Cesaro comes out and pulls a table out from under the ring, but Big E comes out and stops them, sending Cesaro and Nakamura backstage.
