Tonight is another episode of AEW Dynamite, and with All Out getting closer, it will be an extremely important one. It’s another stacked card full of action, so let’s break down what is coming this week from Dynamite!
Tag Team Gauntlet Match, Winners Get Shot At AEW Tag Team Championship At All Out
The biggest match announced tonight for AEW Dynamite is the four team tag team gauntlet match, which will see the top four ranked teams go to war. We have The Natural Nightmares, Best Friends, Young Bucks, and FTR. Natural Nightmares & Best Friends will start this one, then after that match comes The Young Bucks and finally FTR. This could be the first time we see FTR & Young Bucks clash, or one of the starting teams could cause an upset.
Whoever wins this match will go on to All Out and face Kenny Omega & Hangman Page for the AEW Tag Team Championships. The champs have already beaten The Natural Nightmares, Best Friends and Young Bucks in the past, meaning FTR is the only fresh match in the batch. Only one team can go to All Out, and this is going to be a classic.
MJF & Moxley Sign The Contract For All Out
Unlike the AEW Tag Team Championship match, we already know what is in store for the AEW World Championship. The undefeated (except in tag team matches, they don’t count) MJF will face Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship, and he’s made it very clear that he intends to walk away with the win by any means necessary. He’s campaigning for a better AEW, and part of the contract will ban Moxleys finisher at the show. Will Moxley sign the deal as is, or does he have a trick up his sleeve for MJF?
Every time they’ve shared a ring recently, someone has been left laying. Contract signings in professional wrestling are rarely safe affairs, and this will likely not be the exception.
Matt Hardy Gets Sammy Guevara In A Tables Match
While The Hardyz brought the ladders to TLC, Matt Hardy has become very well acquainted with tables over his career as well. He’s been in a bitter and bloody feud with Sammy Guevara for weeks now, with both men being battered and bloodied by the other. This can’t continue, and they will look to settle their differences when they meet in the first ever Tables Match in All Elite Wrestling. Guevara is a bright star, and The Inner Circle might help him in this match, but never count a veteran like Matt Hardy out.
Also announced is an eight man tag match, pitting The Butcher, The Blade & The Lucha Bros against Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss, Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison. Britt Baker will be backed up by Reba & Penelope Ford in a match against Big Swole. Finally, Mr. Brodie Lee will celebrate his TNT Championship win.
