WWE NXT Results: Breezango vs. Imperium [NXT Tag Team Championship Match]

During the pre-show of NXT Takeover XXX, Tyler Breeze & Fandango would earn another title shot. Their last shot against Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner ended with a loss, but both men are determined to finally win gold within WWE. Would tonight finally be the night for Breezango, who came into this one with no flash, more serious than ever?

    Breezango Came To Win

Before the bell could even ring, Breezango would bring the fight to Imperium, the referee pushing them apart. The match would properly start with Fandango & Aichner, before a quick blind tag to Barthel would show their impeccable teamwork. This would isolate the powerhouse to start this match as we went to a commercial break.

Coming back from the break, things would have not improved for Fandango, having a hard time getting going in this one despite a hot start. Aicher hit a big double underhook suplex, and rapid tags in and would only last for so long. He’d block a double team attempt, and tag Breeze in.

Tyler Breeze Picks The Pace Up

The NXT OG would fire back with some impressive strikes, hitting superkicks and jumping knees, even hitting the Beauty Shot on Barthel as he came off the top rope. Sadly it’s not 2014, and that move has fallen in power from an insta-win move. He’d try for the Unprettier, but Barthel countered out and retook control and tagged in Aicher.

Aichner would run right into an enziguri, and Breezango would hit a double team leg drop, a move that would have won had Barthel not made the save and pulled his partner outside. Fandango would dive over the top and take Aichner down, only for Barthel to hit a German Suplex.

    One Last Dance

Coming back from another break, Imperium would be back in control, Aichner having Fandango in a chinlock. Fandango broke free, came off the ropes and was caught. Aichner would hit a rolling fireman’s carry and a springboard moonsault for a near fall, as Barthel took out Breeze on the outside.

Fandango took control briefly with a jawbreaker out of nowhere, but had no one to tag, and he’d be torn apart by a double team blitz from Imperium. His next tag attempt would work, but Breeze would nearly be taken out by the European Bomb, only to slip out and hit two superkicks!! Fandango would tag in, hit The Last Dance off the top rope and get the win! Tyler Breeze & Fandango finally win tag team gold, both getting their first championship win in WWE.
