If there’s one thing CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have learned from Genoa City, it’s that life will always go on, no matter how chaotic it gets.

Last week when looking to send a message to NXT Champion Keith Lee, Karrion Kross would use Danny Burch as a pawn, choking him out backstage. Burch is not the type to let something like this slide, and has requested a match with the undefeated Kross. Will this one on one match lead to a similar result as the assault from last week on NXT?

    Never Count Danny Burch Out

Burch was outgunned in this match, just based on the stats alone. Kross is the top heel in NXT, a man set to go for the NXT Championship, but Burch doesn’t care if he just won his first singles match in months on 205 Live. He would meet Kross head on to start NXT, without a glimmer of fear in his eyes, as you’ll never find the Governor cowering in fear of an opponent.

He’d loudly yell for the bell to be rang, and dive in with a hard dropkick, taking the fight right to Karrion Kross. Kross would be sent into the corner with a flurry of strikes, before being clotheslined over the top rope. However, Kross landed on his feet, and drug Burch out and nailed a double handed chokeslam onto the outside.

Burch would be drug back into the ring for an exploder suplex, with Kross urging him to get back up. A boot to the face and a step up enziguri would stun Kross for a diving front dropkick, and a series of German Suplex sent Kross across the ring, with a lariat finally dropping his opponent. Kross would find himself in trouble, trapped in a crossface.

A Doomsday Saito would drop Burch on his neck, a second would leave him struggling to his feet. Kross would ask if he remembers this before looking in the Kross Jacket for the win. All the fight in the world don’t matter when you’re facing Karrion Kross.

Keith Lee Delivers The Contract To Karrion Kross

Following this victory, Keith Lee would march to the ring to finally confront his would-be rival. Kross would flee the ring as the Limitless One approached with a contract in hand. Lee has offered the ring to Kross, but he’s being a little bitch.

Wanting this match, Lee has pleaded to Regal for this match to be made official, and he threw the contract down. If Kross signs it, Lee can’t touch Kross until their match at Takeover, as that’s what it took to get Regal to agree. The match is now official for Takeover XXX, but the contract had an extra trick.

Some flash paper in the contract left by Scarlett would cause a fireball to hit Lee in the face when he checked it, blinding the champion. This makes another feud where his eyes would be attacked, with Gargano previously stabbing him in the eye with keys. However, this just made Lee angry, something that could be bad for Kross at Takeover.
