Hello and welcome to this week’s WWE Raw Live Results and Recap! I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re all set to get things going.
What’ll happen on Raw underground, and will Retirbution attack again? We’ll find out soon.
Segment 1
Seth Rollins and Dominic Mysterio contract signing went off without too many problems, except Rollins will let Dominic use any weapon he wants at SummerSlam.
Sounds like McIntyre and Ziggler 2.0.
Segment 2
Seth Rollins defeated Humberto Carrillo in a so-so match, then he and Murphy beat Dominic with kendo sticks for ten minutes until Dominc was covered in welts and passed out.
Segment 3
This was mainly a recap of last week as the announcers hyped the Retribution angle, and Zelina Vega announced she had nothing to do with poisoning Montex Ford.
We may have a Vega and Bianca Belair feud going soon, and it’ll be Andrade vs. Angelo Dawkins after the break.
Segment 4
Angelo Dawkins vs. Andrade (W/Zelina Vega and Angel Garza)
Dawkins defeated Andrade in a good match after Belair stopped Vega from distracting the referee.
Vega and Belair coming up after the break.
Segment 5
Zelina Vega vs. Bianca Belair
Belair won this brutal match that’s easily the best match of the night so far.
Throughout it all, Vega continued to deny she poisoned Ford.
Segment 6
A recap of last week’s US Championship match were shown, as well as a VIP Lounge hwere MVP blamed the lights for his loss.
Crews promised him a match at SumemrSlam, then cleared the ring.
Segment 7
Apollo Crews vs. Shelton Benjamin ended with Benjamin scoring the win after rolling a distracted Crews up for the pin.
Retribution threw a cinder cblock through a door window during the match, but it could wait until Crews vs. Benajamin was decided.
Segment 8
Mickie James is back and wants the gold, and Lana and Natalya are in matching outfits and sound like Valley Girls.
Not sure how I feel about this outside of it shoule be interesting.
Segment 9
Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. Akira Tozawa and three ninjas. two ninjas took a beating in their loss, while Ninja #3 was R-Truth in disguise.
Truth pinned Tozawa to win the 24/7 Championship for the 38th time.
Segment 10
Liv Morgan (w/Ruby Riott) vs. Peyton Royce (w/Billie Kay)
Royce won after Morgan was distracted when she and the referee thought Riott was going to interfere when she stopped Billie Kay.
Not the best match as these have been way too quick for some reason.
Segment 11
Raw Underground returned with a prettyy good grappling fight.
Asuka vs. Bayley got off to a fast start as Asuka took the fight to Bayley, but Bayley slowed it down as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
This became a submission clinic until Asuka slapped on the Asuka Lock for the win.
On Raw Underground, we got to see an impressive Artutro Ruas, a 17 time Amateur Wrestling Champion of Brazil. It was a quick match, but very impressive.
Segment 13
Dabba-Keto destroyed his Raw Underground opponent.
Shayna Baszler the arrived and took out four women at roughly the same time befoe making one of them tap out to the Coquina Clutch.
Segment 14
Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
The match started off with each working to gain the upper hand, with Owens having the slight edge as we headed to comemrcial.
Segment 15
Orton countered a stunner with an RKO for the win in what was arguable the best match of the night.
After the match, Orton asked Flair to stay as they had something to talk about. Could Flair be the Legend Killer’s next victim?
Segment 16
After an emotion confrontation where they seemed to mend the fence, Orton his Flair with a low blow, then punt kicked him when the lights went out (we didn’t see him do it.)
McIntyre then ran out and threw a few insults at him for betraying Flair.
This was definitely an interesting show and far better than last week’s.
