Raw Underground stated with Riddick Moss and Cal Bloom squaring off as they exchanged amateur wrestling holds before they rolled out of the ring and managed to bounce each other off the only sheet of metal roofing around.
Back in the ring, the grappling continued until Moss went for Bloom’s eyes and hit with a headlock and right for the win.
Asuka vs. Bayley (w/ Sasha Banks)
Asuka came out looking ready to rock, and waited as patiently as possible for Bayley to get to the ring. Neither her nor Sasha Banks were in a hurry.
This one has the potential to be the match of the night.
Bayey made sure to hold up both her belts to mock Asuka. But asuka attacked Bayley right away and threw her into a corner before hitting with a hip attack.
Asuka followed it up with a flip and series of kicks before Bayley tried to head out of the ring, and Asuka threw her into the barricade.
In the ring, Bayley knocked Asuka off the top rope and hit with a face first slam for a near pin.
With the match slowed down, Bayley hit with a kick to Asuka’s right leg, and then a suplex for another near pinfall.
A sliding clothesline led to another close pinfall. Bayley then locked in a reverse chin lock before throwing her into the corner.
Bayley took the time to mock Asuka, but she caught Asuka’s kick and continued to kick and mock her.
Fired up, Asuka nearly scored a win with a backslid pin, then she hit with a drop kick to Bayley after Bayley tried to roll her up.
Asuka hit with a shoulder block and German suplex, and followed it with a hip attack for a near pinfall.
Bayley caught Asuka’s next hip attack and threw Asuka into the turnbuckle.
Bayley then missed with a knee strike in the corner, and Asuka nailed her with a series of kicks while Bayley was stuck in the corner for a near pin.
Bayley rolled out of the ring as we headed to commercial break.
Asuka keeps coming
We’re back with Asuka climbing the ropes and Bayley in the ring. Asuka hit with a missile drop kick for a near pin.
Asuka measured a couple of kicks to Bayley’s chest.
Banks distracted the refer and Asuka enough for Bayley to catch her next kick and lock in an ankle lock, forcing Asuka to get to the ropes to break it.
Bayley hit with a DDT to Asuka’s injured right ankle and nearly scored a pinfall.
Bayley continued to work on Asuka’s leg by draping it over the bottom rope and stomping on it, and Bayley then kept the referee distracted for Banks could slam her leg into the ring apron.
Bayley with with a couple of elbows in the corner, but Asuka rolled her up for a near pin, then locked in the Octupus that Bayley got out of.
Asuka them locked her in an armbar, but Bayley turned it into t pin attempt.
Bayley then slapped on an Indian Death Lock on Asuka. While Banks tried to show Asuka her title, Asuka turned the hold into an ankle lock.
Bayley tried to move Asuka into a pin, but Asuka counter and nearly had a pinfall.
Asuka then hit with a knee strike for a near pinfall, and Banks was looking nervous outside the ring.
Bayley and Auka exchanges blows in the center of the ring before Asuka hit with a knee strike that sent Bayley into the ropes.
The exchanged blows on the top turnbuckle, and Bayley knocked Asuka off, then his with an elbow drop for a near pinfall.
Bayley was up first and hit with a spinning backfist, then a sunset flip into the turnbuckle.
Bayley then mocked Kairi Sane, and a renewed Asuka locked in her Asuka Lock for the tap out.
Banks was more than beside herself when Asuka slipped out of the ring and pointed at her championship belt.
WWE Raw Results and Recap think this is definitely up there for best match of the night.
