There’s no denying that Lucha House Party has been getting a push for a rivalry with Shunsuke Nakamua and Cesaro on WWE Smackdown.
They’re more than do as their athleticism adds a huge amount of excitement to their matches.
While we don’t expect this match to be for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship, it will set up their meeting at SummerSlam, or more likely Payback, for the titles.
Plenty of options
As much as this will suck for Nakamura and Cesaro fans, they’ll have to lose to push this rivalry forward and set Lucha House Party up as the number one contenders.
If they’re going to face each other at SummerSlam, that is. Otherwise, it won’t surprise us if they face off in a singles match or exchange insults and maybe a backstage brawl if they’ll face each other at Payback.
This is one of the plus sides of WWE canceling Evolution 2 and making the pay-per-view Payback.
In our opinion, it doesn’t balance out over hindering the women’s division, but fans don’t seem to have a say in WWE operations no matter how many questionnaires the company sends out.
Having a second pay-per-view next week will give the WWE a chance to have a match or two between these teams. We definitely expect one at SummerSlam either for the titles or not.
It depends on what happens on WWE Smackdown.
Strowman’s turn
After his appearance last week, it’s apparent that Braun Strowman turned heel, but he verified it on Twitter.
Before you pulled me into that swamp, I might have been a little naughty, but after i crawled out, I became something much, much worse. The stuff nightmares are made of!!!!!!

Because of this, we expect him to return to action this week and dominate the poor sacrificial jobber lucky enough to get some ring time.
Even if he doesn’t face a jobber, we expect it’ll be one of the upper mid-card wrestlers like when he face John Morrison leading up to Horror Show at Extreme Rules.
After he dismantles his opponent, we expect the Fiend to make an appearance and attack Strowman.
This will be more balanced than the Fiend’s other attacks as Strowman’s turned the corner and returned home.
He’ll throw the Fiend across the ring, and the night will end with them staring each other down, or they both disappear.
And then there’s Alexa Bliss and what role she could play in this or their upcoming match.
This is so similar to Kane and the Undertaker that it brings out the goosebumps. They should have an epically awesome match at SummerSlam.
