While her husband Johnny Gargano gets ready for the biggest match of his career later in the show, Candice LeRae will lace up her boots for a match of her own. She will face the lightning quick Kacy Catanzaro, in a match that could go either way. LeRae has been on a roll lately, but Catanzaro has always been a single win away from being a huge player despite her small size.
A Dominant Win For Candice LeRae
Catanzaro would go for a standing switch on LeRae, but take an elbow to the face and be sent to the mat. Instead of trying to grapple with LeRae, Catanzaro would use her agility to try to take advantage. She’d be hit with a big neckbreaker, and have to go to the outside to get some advice from Kayden Carter.
LeRae went after her, and took her back into the ring for another beatdown. A neck snap would get a near fall, and LeRae would start to lose control after running into the knees of Catanzaro. Catanzaro would get aggressive and nail a running lariat in the corner followed by a flipping leg drop.
LeRae would instead ground Catanzaro, and wrap up the legs, grab the arms and stomp her opponents head into the mat for the win. She wouldn’t gloat, instead just scowl at Catanzaro as her partner checked on her.
Extending An Offer To Tegan Nox To Finally Talk Their Issues Out
Following her win, she’d grab the microphone and say that Carter & Catanzaro’s friendship reminds her of what she had with Tegan Nox. A friendship that Nox broke when she didn’t have LeRae’s back. However, Nox is willing to talk it over, and so is LeRae now. She’d ask Nox to swing by her house and do just that, dinner is on her then. This screams a trap, which is very much the gargano way of doing things.
