Tonight might very well be the biggest episode of WWE NXT that fans will ever see, and it’s not even on the usual night of Wednesday. NXT Super Tuesday is by all regards, a one match card. However, that one match is perhaps the biggest match that the Black & Gold brand will ever see.
Tonight’s Main Event will see Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Finn Balor go to war. One of them will join Shinsuke Nakamura & Samoa Joe as two-time NXT Champions.
Before That, The Other Matches
While everyone is tuning into NXT this week for the main event, there are two other announced matches on the card. The first is a six man tag team match which will have Street Fight rules, pitting Legado Del Fantasma against the new NXT Tag Team Champions Breezango and Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott. Swerve & Breezango have been on the receiving end of beatings for weeks now from Legado Del Fantasma, but with no rules tonight, they might finally get their revenge.
The other announced match is Bronson Reed vs. Timothy Thatcher, two of the men involved in the NXT North American Championship picture, which also contains Austin Theory, Cameron Grimes and more. Reed & Thatcher have yet to meet in NXT, but this is sure to be an incredibly hard hitting match, one where both men will walk away with some fresh bruises.
Fatal Four Way Sixty Minute Iron Man Match
This match is the all star game of WWE NXT, and that’s the only way to put it. Fans weren’t too keen on Karrion Kross winning the NXT Championship at Takeover XXX, but also weren’t happy hearing he got injured and would vacate the title. However, once the solution to this would be announced, everyone got hyped up.
Here we have four cornerstones of NXT, men who all have a claim to the title of the face of the brand. All men have main evented NXT Takeover events and held the NXT Championship in the past, and are simply iconic to the brand. Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor, and Adam Cole, all in one match that is going to last a full hour. This is the stuff of dreams for fans of NXT, and it will be a chaotic mess of a match that will change the course of the brand going forward.
