WWE Smackdown Results returned from commercial, Alexa welcomed us to the first Moment of Bliss in the WWE Thunderdome.
She then introduced her best friend and challenged for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions, Nikki Cross.
Alexa started it off by congratulating her, and then asked Nikki what her plan of action is for her match against Bayley.
She pointed out it has to be different because she challenged Bayley all summer and lost, and haven’t beaten her since last year.
Nikki was surprised and a little taken back by that and said she understood.
Nikki said it’s different because there’s no Sasha Banks to help Bayley out, and now she can focus exclusively on Bayley and give her the beating she deserves.
She said she saw what Bayley did to Banks, and she then called out Bayley by saying she will be the next WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion.
With Alexa’s question answered, Nikki asked what’s going on with her.
When Alexa asked what hse meant, Nikki said she hit her with a Sister Abigail and then walked off.
Alexa said she didn’t fully understand what happened and she doesn’t know how to fully handle it.
Lacey Evans then came out and interrupted her.
Evans wasted no time if asking if this was Doctor Phil, and then mocked Alexa about talking about her feelings.
Evans turned her attention to Nikki, and said Nikki should be thanking Alexa for walking away last week and took Evans off her game.
Evans said that’s the only way Nikki won that Fatal Four Way, and that Nikki is too nice, short, weak, and has no backbone so she’ll never match Bayley’s nasty streak and beat her.
Nikki took her hanky and blew her nose in it, then tossed it back at Evans.
Nikki kicked Evans and hit her a few times, and Evans headed to the ring since they apparently have a match next. Gee, didn’t see that coming.
Lacey Evans vs. Nikki Cross
Alexa Bliss joined the announce team, and they congratulated her on her new podcast.
The match started with Evans slipping out of the ring when Nikki charged her, demaning the referee back her up while Evans sanitized her hands.
Not wanting to wait, Nikki hit her with a drop kick through the ropes, and Evans took out Nikki’s legs through the ropes.
Nikki jumped on Evans’ back, and Evans slammed her into the corner.
Nikki fought her off with an elbow, then hit Evans with a cross body for a near pinfall.
Nikki then rolled her up for a near pinfall.
Evans dropped Nikki with an arm drag, then dropped a knee on Nikki’s left arm a few times before twisting Nikki’s arm in the ropes.
While Evans kept working on Nikki, Alexa said there’s something about Evans that irritates her, and she gave Michael Cole an earful when he said Evans reminds her of her previous style.
Evans hit her hand stand thump and then kept working on Nikki’s arm.
Evans did a nice takedown with her knee on Nikki’s arm, then locked her in an arm pull with her feet on Nikki’s side as she pulled.
Cole continued asking Alexa questions that bothered her, giving us hope she’d clock him at some point.
Nikki tried to fight out of Evans’ hold, but Evans hit with a clothesline, and was then slammed down as Evans kept working on her left arm.
Evans followed it with another arm twist and jerked Nikki to the mat, then hit with a standing moonsault for a near pinfall.
Evans then collected her bottle of hand sanitizer and squirted it into Nikki’s eyes and rubbed it in, and the referee never called for the bell.
Nikki fought back and hit with a slam before hitting with a splash and then pounding on Evans. A flip out of the corner sent Evans across the ring, and Nikki following it up with a DDT off the top rope, and then a draping neckbreaker for the pin.
After the match, Nikki headed up the ramp while Evans pulled herself up on the announcer’s desk and yelled at Alexa, then the others.
Alexa calmy got up in a trance-like state after Evans mentioned “The Fiend,” and hit a Sister Abigail in front of the announcer’s desk, then headed backstage.
