WWE Smackdown Results have been expecting a match out of this, uh, storyline, and it looks like we’re going to get one at Clash of Champions or next week. Whichever WWE decides works in their favor.
Otis’ lawsuit for the Money in the Bank contract was touched on prior to commercial, and when we came back, we were treated to a recap of Otis’ confrontation on the Dirt Sheet with the Miz and John Morrison.
It was followed by Tucker pointing out what the served papers said, then switched to tonight and Kayla Braxton backstage as she readied to interview them.
She asked what his decision was, as he had one week to give up the MITB contract or face the lawsuit.
He answered that his momma always told him not to trust carnival clowns and lawers, saying he had no intent to allow them to steal his contract.
The Miz and Morrison interrupted, with Miz saying his lawyers aren’t trying to steal anything. They’re trying to give the WWE Universe a MR. MITB they deserve.
Tucker pointed out Otis won it fair and square, so Miz threw a ton of threats at Otis that the lawyers will take everything he owns, including his mama’s home, and that nearly set him off.
Tucker worked to kiip him calm while Morrison recorded the confrontation. Otis challenged the Miz that if he wanted it, to come and take it.
Tucker then pointed out the Miz’s lawyers only put his name on the lawsuit, so Otis grabbed Morrison and slammed him into the garage door and started stomping on him before officials arrived to separate them.
Bayley mocks Sasha Banks, mocks Nikki Cross
They switched gears to a recap of WWE Smackdown’s Women’s Champion Bayley and her recent betrayal of Sasha Banks.
After the recap, Bayley came out with a steel chair in hand.
Bayley didn’t bother heading to the ring, choosing to set the chair up on the ramp instead.
She started off by saying she can watch that inspiring footage over and over, but she doesn’t have any time to waste on that “useless Sasha Banks.”
She turned her attention to her Clash of Champions challenger, Nikki Cross.
Bayley said how she heard she said this time she has a chance to win because Banks isn’t in Bayley’s corner.
She tried to use what she did to Banks to intimidate Nikki and promised to smack the smile off her face.
Bayley got up and closed the chair, saying, “You can only imagine what happens next. Right, Sasha?”
WWE Smackdown Results feels this gave away Bayley winning at Clash of Champions simply because Nikki was mentioned as an afterthought.
Or maybe Banks will appear and help Nikki win?
