CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some fun spoilery goodies to help keep things rolling.
We’ve grown used to a certain tempo when it comes to the show, but this one added an interesting twist as the fallout from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) continues.
Well, it’s not really a twist as we had forewarning, but it kinda feels like it’s meant as a twist.
Anyway, it looks like Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz)’s past is going to be a topic of conversation after Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) does some digging and sits Chance down.
At least, Chance has had some time to prepare himself for what could possibly happen?
While Chance is facing his guilt, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will continue trying to hide hers.
It’s going to get worse for her the longer this goes on, and we’re sure the storyline will be stretched out to and possibly beyond its breaking point.
Not that CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect that to happen or anything. Well, not entirely…

Her guilt builds
Elena has been suffering since she and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) exchanged uber pleasantries, and honestly, she deserves it.
So does he, but we’re sure he’ll be dealing with that in the coming days and weeks.
The difference is Elena isn’t as good at hiding her feeling like he is, but she’s going to continue to try her best.
She doesn’t want to hurt Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but at some point, she’s going to break and the truth will come tumbling out.
Or worse yet, she ends up pregnant and Nate will decide to press her to come clean so he can be a real father.
That’s just a shot in the dark, but the way things go, it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
When and if it does happen, it’s going to be one of those moments CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are sure will be remembered for a long time.
Background check
Paul has proven himself to be one of, if not the, top investigator in Genoa City. While how effective their police force is can be debated like with any soap opera, he had some great moments.
Of course, this could be one of those that won’t be so bright in the court of public opinion since we think he’ll refuse to hire Chance.
Chance has been open and honest with him, but the Adam story is sparking a lot of fun things in the city, and if it comes out that Chance is the federal agent mentioned, then Paul will be the focus for hiring him.
That’s something we just don’t see happening as it’d be a public relations nightmare for Paul and may end up ending his career, too.
It should be interesting. How do you think it’ll work out between Paul and Chance?
