G1 Climax 30 Night 11 presents a big night for the A Block as former IWGP Intercontinental Champion and G1 Climax 39 winner “Golden Star” Kota Ibushi looks to extend his lead.
Ibushi (Hontai) v Shingo (LIJ)
G1 Climax 30 A Block leader Kota Ibushi comes into the marquee of G1 Climax Night 11 for a first time singles match against former NEVER Openweight Champion and Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) member Shingo Takagi.
Ibushi comes off a victory against current Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion and CHAOS member Will Ospreay during G1 Climax Night 9. While Shingo was able to defeat Bullet Club member Yujiro.
If Shingo can seize the day, he takes his points total to 6, while a win for Ibushi moves him to a commanding 10 points.
Switchblade (Bullet Club) v Taichi (Suzuki-Gun)
Former IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White is coming off two straight block losses, with his latest against former NEVER Openweight Champion Jeff Cobb.
Suzuki-Gun member Taichi has also lost his last two matches, with his latest coming to former five-time NEVER Openweight and two-time RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion and CHAOS member Tomohiro Ishii.
The winner of the headline match will move their win total to 8 and could tie Ibushi if he were to fall to Cobb in the marquee.
Suzuki (Suzuki-Gun) v Ospreay (CHAOS)
Current NEVER Openweight Champion and Suzuki-Gun leader Minoru Suzuki is coming off a G1 Climax 30 Night 9 loss to former five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, in a match he controlled the vast majority of.
Current RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion and CHAOS member Will Ospreay was unable to defeat Ibushi on G1 Climax 30 Night 9.
Both are looking to move to 8 points in the A Block, and this is there first ever singles meeting.
Okada (CHAOS) v Cobb (Hontai)
In another first time meeting, former five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and G1 Climax 22 and G1 Climax 24 winner “Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada against former NEVER Openweight Champion Jeff Cobb.
Okada is looking to reach 8 points, while Cobb is looking to reach 6. Okada sometimes struggles with being roughed up, and with Cobb’s Greco Roman background, his suplexes may give “Rainmaker” trouble.
Okada is coming off a victory against Suzuki, while Cobb was able to defeat Jay White on G1 Climax 30 Night 9.
Ishii (CHAOS) v Yujiro (Bullet Club)
Former five-time NEVER Openweight Champion and CHAOS member Tomohiro Ishii faces off against former NEVER Openweight Champion Yujiro in the opening tournament match of G1 Climax 30 Night 11.
Ishii is looking to move to 4 points, while Yujiro is looking to get his first win in A Block.
While Ishii needs a victory to keep his G1 Climax 30 Finals hopes alive, he will need to fight through a hungry Yujiro.
