While the spotlight in Ring Of Honor has been on Pure Wrestling since they got started back up. This will not be that. Vincent & Matt Taven were once faction mates, but now they want to tear each other limb from limb.
Vincent had a good start at this, putting Taven on the shelf at last year’s Final Battle, but after a wicked brawl last week, it’s time for another round.
Vincent Takes Taven Out Before The Match Could Even Start
Before entrances could even be completed, Vincent would jump Taven and throw him down the ramp and into the barricades. He’d slam his head into the floor, and run up the corner post and nail a cutter.
Taven would just be beat down, and Vincent went under the ring for some toys. A table would be set up, and Taven showed some life with some strikes, before being shut down and placed on the table. He’d pull out the purple ladder that Taven used to win the ROH Champion.
Vincent reminded Taven that he forgot about The Kingdom, about Vincent, before hitting Taven with the ladder. He’d set it up infront of the table, put Taven back on it and ensure he stays in place.
Vincent would scale the ladder, with only one thing in mind. Taven was beaten down, and soar off with a Swaton Bomb, before reminding everyone of one fact. “No one can hurt me more than I can hurt myself”
It’s Time For A Fight Without Honor
Now both men have beaten each other down in a brawl, there is little doubt where this is going. While tonight was going to be a simple one on one match, this is going to become a Fight Without Honor very soon.
If the weapon filled brawls weren’t enough indication, this won’t be a Pure Rules match. There won’t be only one legal right hand, DQ’s won’t potentially get you fired, and there will be no handshakes. Vincent & Taven are going to take a pound of flesh, and it’s going to be a damn good match.
