WWE Raw Draft Results are back and were ready for the next round.
WWE Draft round five selections:
Raw picked Nikki Cross.
Smackdown selected Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Guess they’re not winning tonight. Thanks for the spoiler.
Raw kept R-Truth.
Smackdown selected Apollo Crews.
Raw selected Dabba-Kato, who Stephanie thought is Shane’s favorite member of Raw Underground.,
Raw Tag Team Championship – The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
The match started with Woods and Ziggler in the ring and Ziggler locking in a front face lock and rolled Woods over for a couple of pin attempts.
Woods returned the favor with a couple of pin attempt, then locked in an arm lock, and Ziggler returned that favor as well.
Kingston hit Ziggler with an ax handle off the top rope, and Ziggler crawled and slipped over Kingston, flashing his amateur wrestling background to tag in Roode.
Roode and Kingston went off the ropes and Kingston his with a reverse ick for a near pinfall.
Roode knocked Woods off the ring apron and Kington tried to roll Roode up for the pin.
Roode hit a full nelson slam, and Ziggler hit a Famouser for a near pinfall.
New day begins
Back from commercial, Ziggler and Roode were still in control, and they hit a cool double team combo on Kingston that concluded with a neckbreaker and near pinfall.
Kingston tried to fight back, but Roode overpowered him and then hit a suplex and elbow off the second rope for a near pinfall.
Roode them hit with a knee in Kingston’s back, followed by a reverse chin lock.
Kingston fought to his feet, but Roode pushed him into a corner and drove his shoulder into Kingston’s midsection several times.
Kingston hit s double stomp out of the corner so he could tag in Woods.
Woods knocked Roode off the apron, his a hurricanranna on Ziggler, then caught Roode with the Honor Role before sending Ziggler out of the ring and to the floor.
Woods tripped Roode to drape him on the middle rope, the slipped over him to hit Ziggler with a double kick.
Woods tossed Ziggler back into the ring and hit with a DDT for a near pinfall.
Woods then pressed Zigger into a slam, but Ziggler got loose and hit a DDT for a near pinfall.
Roode came in after a mini scrum with Kingston and Woods, he hit Woods with a spinebuster for a near pinfall.
Woods hit with a step up kick, but Ziggler pulled Kingston off the apron. Kingston avoided the ring steps and wiped out Ziggler instead, then tagged in when Roode rolled up Woods.
Woods kicked out, sending Roode into the ropes where Kingston hit with a kick and then the New Day hit the Midnight Hour for the win.
This was a pretty good match, but all of the high impact moves and false finishes have blended together tonight.
WWE Raw Draft Results enjoyed it, but it was a given the New Day would win as soon as the challenge was made.
