WWE Raw Draft Results found Adam Pearce talking with the New Day and Street Profits about doing a simple title exchange, and it went off without a hitch.
Of course, they were approached by Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode saying of course that’s how it happens.
Ziggler claimed they deserve a chance, and Kingston and Woods accepted.
Both face teams shared the “We want the smoke!” tag line in a pretty cool moment.
WWE draft round three
Back from commercial, Stephanie McMahon announced the New Day will defend their new titles tonight against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
Round 3 of the WWE Draft was up and the selections were:
Raw chose Retribution. It was funny when she looked over her shoulder at making the choice.
Smackdown selected Lars Sullivan.
Raw selected Keith Lee.
Smackdown chose King Corbin.
Raw closed it out by choosing Alexa Bliss.
Seth Rollins says his goodbye
With that, Seth Rollins came out for his farewell address to the brand he’s called home since 2016. This should be good.
Rollins didn’t look happy, almost like he had gas, but then said he wanted to soak it all in.
He said this was the end of an era, and he had to acknowledge how difficult it was to lose him to Smackdown.
He added that we’re losing a lot. A champion, a man that’s slayed beasts and conquered monsters, a man that’s a purveyor of the greater good.
But most importantly, he claimed we’re losing the greatest leader in the history of Monday Night Raw, and he doesn’t see anyone on the Raw roster that can fill his shoes.
He said it won’t be Dominik and Rey Msyterio because they were also unfortunately drafted to Smackdown.
He added that he didn’t want to end his run…
But he was cut off by Jeff Hary’d music and he came out to challenge Rollins’ statement.
Rollins thanked Jeff for his enthusiasm, and said Jeff isn’t a leader and told him to “get the hell out of my ring.”
Jeff responded that since he was drafted by Raw, this is his ring.
Rollins pointed out that Jeff should be focused on his match against ALrs Sullivan this Friday and laughed after wishing him a chuckling good luck.
Rollins was partway up the ramp when AJ Styles came out.
Styles made a joke about it being last call to Jeff, then told Rollins to keep walking since it was never Monday Night Rollins.
Of course, Rolins came up to Styes and got in this face. While they argued, Jeff hit them with a kick through the ropes, and threw Styles into the ring steps.
He then his a Poetry in Motion on Rollins while using Styles to get airborne. He followed that with a clothesline on Styles off the ring apron and went back in the ring.
He told Styles that they still have business, and wants to prove to Rollins that Raw is in good hands and challenged them to a triple threat tag team match after commercial.
Okay, not they have our attention, and WWE Raw Draft Results thinks this will be the match of the night.
