While last time the Lucha Bros clashed there was a potential AEW World Championship match involved, this time it’s just to settle a grudge. Fenix won their first encounter, but was forced to give up his spot to Penta who would lose to Kenny Omega. It’s a battle for sibling supremacy tonight, and with Eddie Kingston stirring the pot on commentary, anything could happen!

Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero M Are Showing Their Rivalry

Things would get started quick, both men going for strikes and the other dodging. Fenix took the mat and dodged a stop before a rollup, this got one and Penta hit a superkick. A flurry of kicks would follow, both men getting one flush at the same time, prompting a double down.

They’d run into each other, and Fenix went for another rollup, Penta kicking out and pulling him back to his feet. Penta went for the rollup next, Fenix kicking out and getting the running headscissors. He’d try for a dive, but Penta got back in and hit the back body drop right to the outside.

Fenix would stop Penta’s attempt at a dive with a dropkick, before having to avoid a piledriver, but Penta turned it into a submission. Penta would tear at his brother’s mask, a taboo in lucha libre. Fenix would be partially unmasked and lifeless, as Penta would try to apply a sleeper hold.

Penta let Fenix go and chopped the leg out with a kick. Fenix rolled to the outside, and they’d exchange strikes before Penta threw Fenix into the steel ringpost. Back in the ring, Fenix was hit with a big backbreaker, and Penta tore at the mask some more.

    Lucha Bros Implode

A back elbow, and Fenix was down for a two count. Fenix came back with an overhand chop, but got a knife edge chop to the throat. Penta attempted to hit the Package Piledriver, but Fenix countered with an armdrag before being thrown to the ramp. Fenix landed on his feet, and stopped Fenix with a kick before springboarding in with a hurricanrana.

Penta would be hit with a big cutter, and now Fenix was pulling at the mask of Penta! They’d have each other by the mask, and were throwing punches. Fenix threw some headbutts and a big overhand chop before being hit with a flipping reverse DDT for a near fall.

Penta would be countered and sent to the outside, and Fenix spun through the air and crashed onto his brother. Back in the ring, a Swanton Bomb would be hit, another near fall. Penta tried for the Package Piledriver on the apron after the superkick.

Fenix would then be hit with a Canadian Destroyer on the floor, but Penta wanted more punishment on his brother. Another package piledriver, and this was over.

    PAC IS BACK!

Eddie Kingston would grab a microphone and hit the ring. He’d say we just saw two of the best wrestlers in the world go at it, and Eddie Kingstons best friend did it. Kingston would kick Fenix out of the ring, and say Penta doesn’t need that dead weight.

At this moment, PAC’s music would hit. Finally back from isolation, The Bastard is back. Kingston destroyed the Death Triangle, and now PAC will destroy him. PAC is back, and Kingston made a big mistake. The referees would have to seperate them.

Next week, PAC faces Blade. Who will win this coming match? Will Lucha Bros recover? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
