Many of us love the championship matches, but Impact Wrestling Preview also love the matches where the wrestlers are trying to find what works and earn their opportunities.
It’s a cool angle and these usually lead to some of the best matches around.
Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood vs. Havok and Nevaeh
With the announcement of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship returning with the start of the tournament next week, the division is scrambling to find teams.

Some of the best singles competitors like Jordynn Grace and Kimber Lee are searching for a partner, and the former was embarrassed on last week’s Locker Room Talk when she was passed over by Tenille Dashwood.
Of course, it’s hard to argue with Tenille asking Madison Rayne to join her given Madison’s accomplishments, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be a good match.
To work out their kinks before the tournament, they’re facing an established tag team in Havok and Nevaeh.
Havok and Nevaeh have proven to be difficult to beat on any occasion, and this will be their chance to make a statement heading into the tournament.
Familiarity will play a part Madison has a history will all of these women, but will it give her the edge she and Tenille will need? And will she and Tenille be able to work together as a team?
Chris Bey vs. Eddie Edwards
Chris Bey has lofty goals, and after losing to Trey Miguel last week, he decided it was time for him to move out of the X-Division and challenge for the top championship in the land.
Unfortunately, Rich Swann wasn’t as giving as recent champions when it came to a title shot as he told Bey he needs to earn a shot at the Impact World Championship.
It makes sense, and when Eddie Edwards came in to get Swann for their match, they left Bey mumbling to himself as he worked through how to go about earning his chance.
And here we are, with the Ultimate Finesser facing off against one of the toughest fighters in professional wrestling.
This match will be a fun contrast in styles as Bey is more of a high flyer and Edwards will look to ground him.
Add in that Edwards is looking to right his ship following last week’s loss, and both men will feel they have a lot to prove.
This is going to be a great match, and we’re stuck on who to win. We’re huge Chris Bey fans and would love to see him win, but Edwards is a typical Impact guy that never loses easily.
Impact Wrestling Preview thinks this could be a match we’re going to look fondly on for a while afterwards.
