Coming off the first Road to Showdown event that went live on October 30th, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) continues the New Japan of America (NJoA) tour later tonight with three matches that features an NJPW debut and a return to NJoA.

The marquee match sees former eight-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Rocky Romero team with Jeff Cobb to face JR Kratos (NJPW debut) and Rust Taylor who is making his return to NJoA.

Taylor last wrestled on NJPW Strong during the July 24, 2020 episode teaming with Romero. Afterward, the two exchanged heated words during their post-match comments, making for an interesting dynamic coming into the match.

JR Kratos is a regular for independent promotion Pro Wrestling Revolution (PWR) in California and toured with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) earlier this year before COVID-19 (Coronavirus, 2019) became a pandemic.

Former NEVER Openweight Champion Jeff Cobb looks to put himself in title contention after an impressive showing during G1 Climax 30.

Danny Limelight faces another challenge as he steps into the ring with Bullet Club member “Crown Jewel” Chase Owens in the headline match. Owens will look to take the junior heavyweight down quickly, but Limelight has shown he has the ability to fight out of difficult predicaments.

Limelight was the runner up to Clark Connors in Lion’s Break Crown 2020 tournament and is situated to have a bright career in NJPW in the future. A win over Chase Owens would increase the chances he has of being invited to tour with the main touring branch in Japan next year.

Opening Match Graphic For The November 6, 2020 NJPW Episode via New Japan Pro Wrestling

The opening match sees “Mr. No Days Off” Fred Rosser face young wrestler and NJoA regular Jordan Clearwater. Rosser has been on a tear since making his NJPW debut on NJPW Strong, showcasing a more technical style than he did earlier during his career.

Clearwater has shown the makings of being the evolution of heavyweight professional wrestlers, much like Hikuleo who have a degree of athleticism to go along with their size.

Who will be able to take the victory and move closer to their goals?
