You almost need to feel bad for Jack Starz. He’s often the first pick to face down a new force in NXT UK. Starz has rolled out the red carpet for WALTER, Ilja Dragunov and now has the pleasure of being the first man to face Rampage Brown in NXT UK.
He never turns down a match, and that’ll end him eventually. Last week, he impressed Brown backstage, and now it’s time for him to try to show them the same skills that impressed Rampage, during a match with him.
It’s not expected to go long, but could Starz feed off the energy of fellow underdog and new NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff, and spoil this debut?
Rampage Brown Squashes Jack Starz
For almost two decades, Rampage Brown has been kicking ass all across the UK. Starz would do his best with a lockup, but be thrown aside with ease. Another lockup, and Starz got a headlock. He’d be shoved off, and ran into a brick wall. Some forearm strikes would wobble Starz, before Rampage looked for a scoop slam.
Starz slipped out and Rampage ran the ropes, Starz getting the dropdown. When he tried to jump over Rampage, he’d be caught out of the air and slammed into the mat. This probably could have ended it, but Rampage was playing with his prey. He’d hit a running back elbow, and Starz managed to kick out at two.
Starz would be run into the corner and beaten to the ground, but get boots to the face when Rampage rushed in. A valiant comeback would see him get crushed into the canvas, then a Doctor Bomb ended this one. Rampage Brown gets his first of many wins in NXT UK.
This was just him getting started in NXT UK, and the rest of the boys in the back need to keep up. Could Rampage Brown be the one to dethrone WALTER? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
