For a while now, Naomi has almost been a complete package in WWE. She’s good in the ring, can cut a decent promo, has an excellent look and has as much fan support as anyone else in the company. Despite all this, a sustained push never seems to come her way. There has always been something missing from her, from her character as a whole. However, there might finally be an answer for this situation.
Naomi Would Benefit Greatly From Joining The Hurt Business
When you see the spot Naomi is in, having briefly reached high levels before tumbling down, they almost echo that of Bobby Lashley. He always seemed like he should have been a top star, and he proved his worth in this role in Impact Wrestling. Sadly, when he came back to WWE things didn’t work out nearly as well. Then, he linked up with MVP and everything just clicked. Same goes for Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander.
While adding too many members will oversaturate the group, there is always room in a faction for a female talent. MVP expressed interest in Naomi when she was drafted to RAW, but needs to wait for her to get back from injury to go forward. Having MVP as a mouthpiece will help anyone become a star at this point, and that might be all Naomi needs. This also makes sense in the context of the feud between Hurt Business and Retribution, allowing Reckoning (Mia Yim) to have someone to face off with.
Keeping Her Away From The Usos & Reigns
While Naomi is already away from the situation involving her family on Smackdown Live, her linking up with Hurt Business would keep her away. Her relationship with Jimmy Uso is no secret, meaning that if she was on Smackdown, she’d be reduced to the role of his wife once again. Instead, she could have a chance to flourish on her own, become the star she knows she can be.
