There are a new set of men running NXT, the men who took The Undisputed Era down. Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch have taken the top spots in NXT. They’re starting their own gold rush with Lorcan & Burch finally being NXT Tag Team Champions. They have dubbed themselves The Kings Of NXT.
However, former champions Breezango want their gold back, so it’s time to put The Kings to the test. Breezango promised no jokes tonight, and with both McAfee & Dunne at ringside, they’ll need to be laser focused.
McAfee would hype up Pete Dunne as an absolute terror to NXT, having taken out Kyle O’Reilly & Killian Dain in recent weeks. He’d say wrestling fans don’t deserve to watch a match from a team as good as Lorcan and Burch, and would make his way to commentary for the match.
Breezango With A Hot Start
Lorcan & Burch started the brawling early, going right to work on Breezango. Fandango took out Lorcan with a back body drop on the outside, and Breeze got a slingshot on Burch as well. Fandango and Burch started this match in the ring, with Breezango taking some early control. Breeze tagged in and hit a snap suplex, but Burch tagged in Lorcan.
A desperate tag to Fandango followed, and the tallest man in this match took control briefly, but the Kings started to try and isolate Fandango. He’d hang Burch up to dry, and they’d hit double boots to the head. Lorcan would try to help his partner at ringside, before Burch was thrown at both Dunne & McAfee. A commercial break would come and go, and The Kings were back in control, before Burch was thrown into the corner.
Lorcan & Fandango both tagged in, and Fandango was on fire with suplexes and some hard strikes. He’d drop Lorcan with a Falcon Arrow, and Burch saved the match at two before getting a superkick from Breeze. He’d try to dive on Burch, but Dunne pulled his friend out of the way, before Fandango dove over the rope onto Dunne and Burch.
Don’t Bet Against The Kings Of NXT
Fandango wanted to hit The Last Dance on Lorcan, but was dashed. McAfee would distract the referee, and Drake Maverick ran in to kick Lorcan and look for revenge for Killian Dain. Fandango got the leg drop, but Lorcan kicked out. Dunne threw McAfee into the ring to distract the referee, and took out Breeze. Lorcan and Burch hit their finisher on Fandango, and The Kings Of NXT reign supreme.
Maverick dove into the four on one situation and was mauled. An all out brawl would close out the show, and showed that some do not fear the new rulers of NXT. Breeze was downed with a punt from McAfee, and we’d fade to black.
