WWE Raw Results was ready for a concert with Elias in the ring playing his guitar when he cut a promo on his upcoming match.
He said this is important to him because he needs this. He admitted things haven’t been going well in the ring the last few weeks.
He pointed out how Jeff has made a habit of breaking guitars over his back, but this match isn’t about him; it’s about his fans that helped drive his new cd to the top of the charts.
He tried to start playing, but there was some kind of technical problem and then Jeff’s music started and interrupted him.
Of course, Riddle followed him. So much for an Elias song. What? We like him, so nyah.
Second Chance Survivor Series Qualification Match – Elias vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Riddle
Elis started it off by grabbing Jeff and spinning him in the corner, and Riddle hit Elias from behind with a forearm.
With breathing room, Jeff tried to go after Elias, but Riddle went for Jeff and the two exchanged blows in the corner.
Elias and Riddle then paired off, and Elis shoved Riddle back and into Jeff, and Jeff tried to roll him up for a pin but Riddle kicked out.
Elias then rolled up Jeff, and Riddle rolled up Elias when Jeff kicked out.
The three of them squared off and Elias and Jeff went after each other with Riddle coming in to go after Elias.
The three exchanged attacked on each other, and Elias flipped Riddle over the top rope and Riddle landed on the apron.
Riddle dropped to the floor when Jeff came near and pulled Jeff to the floor where they exchanged blows.
Elias hit both with a dropkick through the ropes, then he bounced Jeff’s head off the ring post twice, threw Riddle into the barricade, and then leveled Jeff with a clothesline as we headed to commercial.
Elias makes it a good fight
We came back from commercial to the action back in the ring and Elias still in control as he nailed Jeff with a right and nailed Riddle to keep him out of the ring.
After stomping Jeff, he caught Riddle with a reverse elbow off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Jeff hit Elias with a jawbreaker and fired off with several right and then hit with an ax handle and nailed Elias and Riddle with inverted atomic drops.
Jeff hit a backdrop on Riddle, then a double leg drop on Elias, followed by a basement dropkick and splash for a pin attempt.
Riddle picked Jeff up, but jeff slipped off his shoulder and shoved Riddle through the ropes. He then went for a Twist of Fate, but Elias countered it into a Drift Away for a pin attempt Riddle broke up with a Broton.
After exchanging blows, Riddle hit with a suplex for a pin attempt that Jeff broke up.
Riddle tried to hit Jeff with a Bro-Derrick, but Jeff fought out of it and knocked Elias out of the ring with a Poetry in Motion.
Riddle countered a Twist of Fate into a backslide, but Jeff rolled out of it and the two exchanged blows until Elias hit Jeff with a leaping knee strike while Jeff attempted a Twist of Fate on Riddle.
Riddle hit Elias with a Bro-Derrick for the win.
Styles is not the captain
Backstage, AJ Styles had been watching the match and made a deal with Adam Pearce.
Braxton asked him what was going on and he said they were just friends.
When she asked him if he was happy to have Riddle on the team, he said he was and that Riddle was the beast they needed.
He started to say that they got off to a rocky start last week when Sheamus interrupted him.
Sheamus called Riddle a shoeless Muppet and said he’s nothing but an obnoxious punk and will have no problem kicking his head off his shoulders if he gets out of line.
Styles gave him a pep talk, and when Braxton asked what kind of job Styles was doing as team captain, Sheamus said he’s not his captain.
Braun Strowman then came up and said Styles wasn’t his captain, either.
WWE Raw Results feel safe in saying it looks like trouble persists in paradise.
