Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCZlRVWpZKk
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and thank you for joining us tonight.
It looks like we should have an interesting show with Sasha Banks defending the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Bayley and more Survivor Series qualifications.
We’re going to grab some snacks, and WWE Smackdown Live Results will be back in time for the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
Smackdown Women’s Championship – Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley
This started off pretty slow as Banks established early control while they felt each other out prior to going to commercial.
Segment 2
The match continued with banks displaying an innovative offense and counters and with Bayley gaining the upper hand.
Banks it with a crossbody from the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
After a great back and forth match, Banks defeated Bayley with a Bank Statement for her first ever title defense win.
Carmella attacked Banks on the ramp and stage before celebrating.
Segment 4
Braxton interviewed Jey Uso, but Paul Heyman interrupted it and she made a joke about Heyman having a higher pace in the family than Jey.
Rey Mysterio was attacked by King Corbin backstage as he tried to call Aalyah. Apparently, Corbin and Mysterio have a qualification match next.
Segment 5
Survivor Series Qualifying Match – King Corbin vs. Rey Mysterio (w/Dominik Mysterio)
Corbin dominiated most of this segment, but Rey eventually got the upper hand.
Unfortunately, Seth Rollins came out as we headed to commerical.
Segment 6
This was a decent match that ended in a clsutermess as Rollins mixed it up with Dominik, and Aalyah and Murphy came out to help, but Rey told them to leave.
Corbin took the opportunity to hit an End of Days for the win.
Segment 7
Triple Threat Survivor Series Qualifying Match – Natalya vs. Ruby Riott vs. Zelina Vega
A meh match that was more a pin attempt fest ended when Riott locked Vega in an armbar while Natalya had Vega in a sharpshooter.
Beats us how the referee decided who won.
Segment 8
Survivor Series Qualifying Match – Otis vs. Seth Rollins
This was a decent match that Rollins won with a Stomp after Murphy came out and distracted Otis when Otis was about to win.
Talk about messing with someone’s mind.
Segment 9
Rollins caught up with Murphy, and Murphy fell back into his disciple role.
Aalyah thne yelled at Murphy, demanding to know why he did what he did, and he told her to trust him because it was for the greater good.
Lars Sullivan gave a great interview with Michael Cole, where he explained he learned to bully the bullies and now loves to bully anyone he wants to.
Segment 10
Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens
This match started off pretty good while Reigns and Heyman watched from backstage.
Reigns sent Heyman off to take care of something. Maybe he’s unhappy with Michael Cole’s announcing? He wouldn’t be the first person.
Owens hit a spalsh on Jey from the ring apron as we headed to commerical
Segment 11
Jey won it with an Uso Splash after hitting a lowblow headbutt on Owens when Roman Reigns’ music played and distracted everyone.
The message was clear. Friends aren’t blood and family is forever.
A better than we expected show with Bayley and Banks stealing it with the first match.
What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments below, and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Live Results.
