Sami Zayn came out for his match, and no surprise for WWE Smackdown Results, he had a microphone in his hand.
The first thing out of his mouth was a complaint about having to wrestle a day after a major American holiday. Maybe he should give thanks we want to see him? Note, were didn’t say win or lose. Just saying.
Zayn then said he doesn’t respect Thanksgiving because it celebrates the atrocities committed against the Native Americans and then how we shove our faces with farm raised turkeys.
He added the Daniel Bryan should be thankful for getting the match he wants after months of scheming.
He said Bryan needs him but he doesn’t need Bryan and accused the WWE of trying to sabotage him.
Bryan’s music played and he came out to interrupt Zayn’s latest rant.
Sami Zayn vs. Daniel Bryan
The match started with Zayn attempting to hide in a corner behind the referee, but she moved out of the way and he wasn’t too happy about that.
Bryan locked up Zayn’s left hand and stomped Zayn’s elbow, and Zayn took a break to complain that Bryan stood on his hair.
Zayn then got run over by a shoulder block and he ducked under the ropes to prevent Bryan to get after him.
Bryan took out his legs and then dropped a knee on Zayn’s left arm before twisting it into a lock.
Zayn hit an elbow to get loose, but ran into a dropkick for a near pinfall.
Zayn caught Bryan with a kick off the ropes and threw Byran to the floor.
Zayne caught Bryan with a stomp when he tried to enter the ring, and then threw him out of the ring again but he followed Bryan outside this time.
He then threw Bryan into the barricade and then into the ring. He climbed o the top rope, but Bryan knocked him down and tried a superplex.
Zayn fought him off, but Bryan hit with a dropkick to send Zayn to the floor. Bryan climbed to the top rope, but Zayn sidestepped his leap and Bryan hit the barricade.
The loophole
Returning from commercial, Zayn was in control in the ring with a reverse chin lock.
Bryan fought to his feet and pulled Zayn into the corner to force a break. Zayn hammered him down after the break and t hit a clothesline off the ropes for a near pinfall.
Zayn tried to more covers, but Bryan kept kicking out.
Bryan flipped over Zayn in the corner and he then hit Zayn with an elbow off the ropes.
Bryan then hit with a running kick in the corner and put him on the top rope. Bryan then hit with a hurricanrana for a near pinfall.
Bryan locked in an armbar, then hit an armbreaker before missing with a kick as Zayn rolled of the ring apron.
On the apron, Zayn shoved Bryan into the ring post, and then hit Bryan with a brainbuster on apron.
Zayne rolled into the ring and Bryan followed as the referee reached the count of nine.
Beside himself, Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near pinfall.
Zayn talked trash as he kicked him and told him he doesn’t deserve any more respect than Zayn gets.
Bryan rolled out of a suplex and tried a armbar but rolled into a crossface.
Zayn managed to get a foot on the bottom rope to break the hold and headed to the fllor, where Bryan hit a suicide dice that knocked Zayn into the announce table.
Bryan threw him into the ring, but Zayn rolled out of the other side and Bryan hit another suicide dive.
Zayn then ran away into the backstage area with Bryan after him.
Zayn ran back and barely made it to the ring to avoid the count out, meaning he won through another loophole. WWE Smackdown Results can’t wait to see how he managed this one.
