With so much going on in Genoa City, it looks like we’re going to be allowed to take a breath amidst the constant thrum of investigations, witness tampering, and set ups.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 15: Phyllis Wonders About Nick’s Motives- Lily Finds a Shocking Discovery
For the action, we’re going to get Lily Winter (Christel Khalil) as she’ll continue her snooping to find out what she can to help Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) get off the hook.
This could be anything, but it’s safe to assume it’ll involve the star witness and why Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) suddenly turned up to finger Billy for the shooting.
As’ The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers mentioned above, there’s more to this episode than just the ongoing investigation and case, and it involves Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 15: Wondering why
Phyllis has a long history of causing mayhem for herself when things are going good, and that may be the case when she wonders about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)’s motives for helping her.
On the up and up, there appears no reason to suspect Nick of plotting anything behind the scenes, especially when it coms to Phyllis.
But she’s made a fun life out of sabotaging every relationship she’s ever had just when they started to go smoothly, so why would this be any different?
There is the possibility that this is something minor and she’s wondering why Nick is acting strange when he’s really setting up a surprise for her.
Maybe it’s nothing more than a private celebration for her now owning the Grand Phoenix outright.
There’s plenty of possibilities here to play with, and we can’t wait to see what the hubbub is about.

Lily could’ve been a detective in a previous life and her tenaciousness looks like it’ll pay dividends as she’ll make a shocking discovery.
As if learning Alyssa is the star witness wasn’t enough, we think Lily will find something that’ll potentially break the case open.
Whether it’ll point to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or anyone else as the culprit is questionable, but security footage showing Billy elsewhere on the property at the time of the shooting would be a great find.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers doubt it’ll be that simple as it lacks drama and this bit will be stretched out for a few more days because that’s that the show does.
