Impact Wrestling Preview is all set for the next two weeks of Impact Wrestling holiday specials as they recap the best moments and announce the award winners.
While the episode won’t be what we’ve grown accustomed to, it’s going to be fun seeing who will be named the Wrestler of the Year, Knockout of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, and the X-Division Star Of The Year.
Each category has its share of awesome talent and stories behind it, and we’re going to look at Wrestler of the Year, so let’s dive on in.

Wrestler of the Year
This is one of those categories that is wide open as it covers all of the divisions, meaning we have the entire rose to pick from.
While there are plenty to choose from, we’re going with Moose.
Since naming himself TNA World Heavyweight Champion at Rebellion, Moose has been a dominant force.
He’s racked up win after win as he’s taken over the promotion as one of their most dominate performers in years.
This doesn’t mean he’s a shoe in as Rich Swann definitely get an honorable mention and may take this way from Moose and help boost their rivalry even more.
Swann has been the backbone of the Impact World Championship over the summer to now and has really help taken Impact to a new level.
His upcoming rivalry with AEW’s World Champion Kenny Omega could give him an addition boost.
Possible contenders
A dark horse in the race could be Eric Young, who’s arrival helped set the stage for Swann to take the spotlight and has helped make the promotion better week after week.
It mainly depends on what criteria we choose to go by, and for Impact Wrestling Preview, we’re sticking by Moose.
Then there’s the controversial choice of Tessa Blanchard as she was the first women to win a promotion’s top title.
While it was historical, her title reign was far less than it could’ve been despite the pandemic shutting things down for a while.
We think it could’ve been something really special, but the wheels came off early on and it felt more like a floundering than anything else.
It’s a great teaching moment, assuming it was meant to be more than an attention grabbing decision. Unfortunately, in many fans’ eyes that’s exactly what it was and is considered a black mark for many.
