It has been reported online that the biggest matches for next year’s WrestleMania have already been put in place by the WWE. Fans will be aware that matches for the biggest show of the year are typically pencilled in months before the event takes place, and there are some huge matches that fans will be able to look forward to. The news was revealed on Twitter by @Wrestlevotes, and there are some exciting rumoured matches in the works that will excite fans.
WWE News: Drew McIntyre vs Keith Lee vs Brock Lesnar
One of the matches that has been muted is a triple threat match for the WWE Championship. The match would come 12 months after McIntyre successfully won the championship against Brock Lesnar.
According to the reports, the Beast could be back in the WWE to try and regain his title next year, and there could also be the added element of Keith Lee involved. That would be a massive moment for Lee, as it would also be the first time that he has competed at WrestleMania, and it could indicate that he is set to win the Royal Rumble match.
WWE News: Randy Orton vs Edge
Fans have been waiting for months to see Edge return to the ring, and it could come later down the line, as it has been muted that he will end his rivalry with Orton 12 months after their first meeting at WrestleMania.
The Rated R superstar has been off injured since the Backlash PPV, but there is every expectancy that he will be back sooner rather than later. A final match with Orton is needed, as they have both won one apiece. After that Edge will be able to move onto a fresh rivalry on Raw.
WWE News: Goldberg vs Roman Reigns
Goldberg hadn’t given up on his match with Roman Reigns according to the comments that he made on The Bump this week, and it would seem that the WWE are planning to press ahead with the match. Reigns and Goldberg were scheduled to collide at WrestleMania last year, before Reigns pulled out and was replaced by Braun Strowman.
Fans will be hoping that this will be the final time that we see Goldberg in a WrestleMania main event, as Reigns successfully defends his Universal Championship against the WWE Hall of Famer.
