There was a massive shock on Raw on Monday night, as Lana defeated Nia Jax. It was one of the biggest results that we have seen on television this year, and it came after months of brutal attacks on Lana from Jax.
However, Jax wasn’t about to let Lana celebrate the moment and the victory was quickly forgotten about after Shayna Baszler and Jax brutally attacked Lana. It was revealed afterwards that Lana will be out of action for four weeks, which means that Asuka will need to find a new tag team partner for the match on Sunday against the tag team champions. But, which superstars could join the Empress?
WWE News: Mandy Rose
Fans quickly put two and two together after Raw and speculated that it could be Mandy Rose that teams up with Asuka as the Goddess made her return to Raw this past week.
It would certainly a big logical move for Rose, as she was put on the sidelines by Jax after a brutal attack leading to Survivor Series. It would be good long-term story telling by the WWE to continue this fued, and Rose and Asuka would both be looking for revenge.
WWE News: Charlotte Flair
The biggest rumour that fans have been speculating over the past seven days is that Charlotte Flair could return and look for revenge against Jax. Once again, it was Jax that put Flair on the shelf this year, and Flair would look for immediate revenge by taking the tag titles away from Jax and Baszler.
There is still speculation that Charlotte and Asuka could feud heading into Mania season, but this could be a good starting block, as Flair first gets revenge against the women that has meant that she has missed much of this year. It would certainly bolster the star power on Raw should Flair return.
WWE News: Kairi Sane
The WWE could throw a massive curveball in on Sunday evening, and it could see the return of Kairi Sane. This would seem like an improbable option for fans, but it would certainly be something that would cause huge excitement. Fans would be delighted to see Sane back, and the former tag team champions would certainly fancy their chances of picking up the win against Baszler and Jax. Like we said, it is unlikely, but there is at least hope that this could happen.
