Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for a fun show.
We’ll Randy Orton inviting himself to the Firefly Fun House (what could go wrong?) and a handicap match with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus facing the Miz, John Morrison, and AJ Styles.
So WWE Raw Live Results are going to grab some snacks and get ready to settle in for the show at 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
The show started with a ten bell salute to Pat Patterson, who, for those that may not know, passed away last week. He was a legend in every way and will be missed.
RIP Pat.
Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt exchanged barbs and Orton challenged Wyatt to a match tonight since he’s facing the Fiend at TLC and Wyatt accepted.
Orton looked a little too happy.
Segment 2
Asuka (w/Lana) vs. Shayna Baszler (w/Nia Jax)
This started off with the pair exchanging submission holds before Baszler threw Asuka into the announce table as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
A fun match ended when Lana hit a hurricanrana of Jax and sent her into the announce desk, and Asuka rolled up a distracted Baszler for the win.
Segment 4
Ricochet and Dana Brooke cut a promo about their upcoming mixed tag match against Slapjack and Reckoning of Retribution.
Segment 5
Mixed Tag Match – Ricochet and Dana Brooke vs. Slapjack and Reckoning (w/Mustafa Ali)
This was a good but fast match as Reckoning ignored Ali and Brooke hit a sit up slam for the pin.
Segment 6
Miz TV with AJ Styles
After a few joks, Sheamus and McIntyre came out and tossed Miz and Morrison out of the ring while Styles watchd from outside, seemingly distancing himself from them.
Segment 7
Kofi Kingston (w/Xavier Woods) vs. Shelton Benjamin (w/Cedric Alexander and MVP)
This was another fast one that Kingston won with a Trouble in Paradise.
Afterwards, Alexander told Kingston he was tired of them slipping through their fingers and challenged him to another match and it looked like Kingston accepted.
Segment 8
Kofi Kingston (w/Xavier Woods) vs. Cedric Alexander (w/Shelton Benjamin and MVP)
Another fast match but still a good one saw Alexander continue to go after Kingston’s injured leg before hitting a Lumbar Check for the pin.
Segment 9
We were treated to an awesome Pat Patterson tribute video.
Segment 10
Handicap Match – Drew McIntyre and Sheamus vs. The Miz, John Morrison, and AJ Styles (w/Jordan)
McInytre and Sheamus dominated early with some miscomunication when the Miz ducked and Sheamus hit McIntyre, but they worked through that heading into commercial.
Segment 11
This was a great match that Styles won after hitting Sheamus with a Phenominal Forearm after Morrison ducked and Sheamus hit McIntyre with a Brogue Kick.
Segment 12
It was announced that Lana will face Nia Jax next week, and Sheamus denied Brogue Kicking Mcintyre on purpose.
Unfortunately, McInytre didn’t believe him and htey had a stare down.
Segment 13
Bobby Lashley (W/MVP) vs. Jeff Hardy
Before the match, Riddle approached jeff about forming a tag team called he Hardy Bros, then came out to take MVP out of the equation as we headed to commercial.
Segment 14
This was another great match that really showed Jeff’s heart before he eventually submitted to a Hurt Lock.
Segment 15
Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
This started with Orton trying his best, but Wyatt remained in control at the outset and even chased off the announcers so he could grab a headset and say, “Yowie wowie! We’ll be right back.”
Segment 16
Another really good match to close out the night ended when Orton hit an RKO but the lights went out. When they turned back on, Wyatt had become the Fiend.
The Fiend then slapped on a mandible claw and quickly overpowered Orton
This was the perfect way for the match to end to really raise the stakes for next week and TLC.
The show was really good over all, but it could’ve been better without the constant recaps. They really slowed it down.
