WWE Raw Preview is looking forward to this match despite it being yet another gimmick match as the talent in the ring should make this the match of the night.
This isn’t a surprise as the New Day and Hurt Business have been embroiled in a feud for the Raw Tag Team Championships and they need to build for a championship match at TLC.
While the two groups have been going back and forth in their feud, Jeff Hardy recently bore the brunt of Bobby Lashley’s power after stepping into the ring with him last week.
So, it’s only natural that Jeff would be added to this match, and we expect him and the New Day to put on a clinic on high flying maneuvers to counter the Hurt Business’ ground and pound style.
It’ll be a fun back and forth as both groups will look for the edge, and we expect Jeff to get the pin on Lashley to further their feud possibly for the United States Championship.
What about Riddle?
Of course, WWE Raw Preview could be wrong and the Hurt Business will win to make them a more credible threat going into a match for the tag titles, but this leaves out someone.
Riddle has been a recent annoyance to MVP, so we expect the two of them to have a feud of sorts going forward. It’d be Riddle’s first step into entering a feud with Lashley for the US Championship.
This would also allow WWE Creative time to build the Jeff Hardy and Bobby Lashley feud for the same championship along side MVP and Riddle.
Since Riddle and Jeff are unofficial partners now, it makes sense that we’ll see them pair off with Lashley and MVP in the near future as one or both of them go for the US title.
Maybe we’ll see Riddle and MVP square off tonight?
On the plus side, WWE Raw Preview really like the idea of Riddle and Jeff forming a tag team. During their brief interaction, they seemed to click on a special level that makes a great tag team.
We could be on the cusp of seeing something great between these two, and we’re looking forward to seeing them together more in the future.
It also makes sense that Lashley and MVP could be their first opponents since they’re really the only legitimate heel team left on Raw (Retribution’s done in our eyes) and they’ll put together some awesome matches.
