Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we should have a fun episode tonight as Jey Uso will face his punishment for failing Roman Reigns last week and we continue building toward TLC.
WWE Smackdown Live Results are going to grab some snacks before the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
The show started with a moment of silence and a ten bell salute to Pat Patterson who passed away earlier this week at the age of 79. Thank you for the memories, sir. RIP.
Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns exchanged some barbs as Owens challenged him to a TLC match for the Universal Championship at TLC.
Segment 2
Bayley vs. Natalya with Bianca Beliar on commentary
This match started slow as the camera was busy going back and forth between Belair and the match as they hyped up her and Bayley’s feud.
Natalya threw Bayley into the ring steps as we headed to commercial
Segment 3
Natalya won after locking in the sharpshooter and Bayley tapped out.
Segment 4
An awesome tribute to Pat Patterson welcomed us back. He was a legend in so many ways and will be missed.
Segment 5
Pat Patterson Tribute Match – Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, and Big E vs. Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sami Zayn
This started off pretty fast with the action going back and forth before Ziggler knocked Bryan off the top rope and to the floor with a dropkick as we headed to commerical.
Segment 6
This was an awesome match that’s going to be tough to top. Bryan won after wrapping Zayn in a Small package for the win.
Segment 7
Banks and Carmella held an interview where they threw barbs at each other and Banks challenged her to a match at TLC.
Segment 8
Murphy (w/Aalyah, Dominik, and Rey Mysterio) vs. King Corbin (w/Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake)
The match was pretty even to start before Corbin threw Murphy into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
Corbin hit an End of Days for the win after Murphy chased Cutler and Blake through the ring.
Segment 10
Otis and Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso (w/Paul Heyman)
This started as a handicap match as Jey paid hit pennance. When Reigns did come out, he didn’t tag in and hit Otis on the apron with a Superman Punch.
He then pounded Otis with with Ring steps without being disqualified, and Jey hit Owens with a forearm off the ring apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
Otis was taken to the back during the commercial, so Owens was then in a hanidcap match.
He still nearly won after hitting a stunner on Jey, but Reigns broke up the pin and locked in a guillotine choke on Owens and the referee called for the bell, so we’re guessing a DQ for Reigns and Jey since Jey was the legal man.
How the DQ didn’t happen earlier is beyond me, but whatever, WWE. Reigns and Jey then took turns beating Owens with steel chairs.
Reigns then beat Jey down with a chair for not tagging out to let Reigns collect the victory.
This was a pretty good show with the Pat Patterson tag match stealing the show as it should’ve.
