Undisputed Era are one of the most dominant teams in the history of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They’ve won it once and are always a dominant team. This year, it’s Adam Cole & Roderick Strong representing the faction, and their first test is Breezango.

Tyler Breeze & Fandango are crafty veterans of the brand, as shown by their recent reign as NXT Tag Team Champions. Earlier in the show, Cole & Strong got in the business of Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, meaning they will need to watch out for them in this match.

Back And Forth Action From Adam Cole & Tyler Breeze

Adam Cole started up with Tyler Breeze, Breeze getting an early headlock, being shoved off and getting the shoulder tackle. They ran the ropes and both looked for the superkick, but just got a stalemate. At this point, Breeze & Cole were equals, so they tagged out to Roderick Strong & Fandango.

Strong got the wrist lock on Fandango, forcing him down to the mat, but Fandango isn’t that easy to control. They’d grapple on the mat, and Strong almost got the Strong Hold, before being flung off and hit with a spinning wheel kick. Breeze tagged in, and hit a snap suplex for a one count.

Cole came back in and was able to take control back, getting Breeze with a neckbreaker for a near fall. Fandango would come in and regain control of this match, suplexing Cole over the top rope. Cole took kicks to both sides of the head, and while he tried for a comeback with a head kick, he couldn’t make the tag before being thrown outside.

    Undisputed Era Have Visitors

Breeze went for the dive, but took another kick. He managed to get Fandango in as Strong tagged in like a house full of fire. The first backbreaker of the match to Fandango was followed by some elbows to Breeze, before using Breeze as a weapon!

Cole tagged in and hit a shining wizard for a two count, and looked for Last Shot only to miss and get kicked in the face. Breeze tagged in and took a big pump kick, but blocked a suplex and nailed a backstabber. Strong was taken out on the apron, and Fandango tagged in.

Cole was hit with a slingshot elbow drop from Fandango, but was able to come back with a pump kick. Fandango came back twice as hard with a lariat. On the outside, Dunne, Burch and Lorcan attacked Kyle O’Reilly. They wanted to break the jaw of O’Reilly, but Finn Balor made the save.

Cole noticed his downed friend at ringside, but forgot about the match and took a superkick. Fandango propped him on the top rope, and while he was kicked off, he dodged the Panama Sunrise. He tried for the top rope leg drop, got a superkick instead, and this one was done. Undisputed Era moves forward.

Outside of the interference at the end of the match, this was a very fun tag team contest. Breezango have rarely looked better, and Undisputed Era are truly the best in NXT when it comes to tag team wrestling. Match Rating: 3.75/5 (*** ¾)
