It’s been a while since we’ve seen Tyson T-Bone in action. He was last seen before the NXT UK shutdown, where he was in a battle royale to name the next challenger to WALTER. Now he’s back though, and wants to get things started by taking out Amir Jordan.
Neither man has the best win-loss record, but Amir Jordan has never won a singles match in NXT UK, and looks to make tonight his first. This match was set up by Jordan’s tag team partner, Kenny Williams, who is out of action with a leg injury. On paper, Jordan gets beat every time by a bruiser like T-Bone, but maybe tonight he’ll manage a win.
Tyson T-Bone Is In The Best Shape Of His Career
Jordan dodged the first strike from the bare-knuckle brawler, and applied a safe headlock. He needs to outwrestle and outspeed T-Bone, so when that headlock was countered into a back suplex, he was sure to land on his feet and reapply the hold. T-Bone broke the hold and hit a shoulder tackle, before having Jordan slip away from his using his speed. Jordan didn’t stay moving for long however, as T-Bone hit a big leaping lariat.
T-Bone easily picked up Jordan for a backbreaker, before just throwing him over his head and across the ring. Some clubbing blows kept Jordan on the mat, until T-Bone sent him into the corner for more strikes. Jordan slipped free, only to take some hard jabs to the face, something he wanted to avoid in this match.
Amir Jordan Is Crafty
T-Bone was in complete control, sending Jordan off the ropes into forearm strikes to the lower back, before Jordan got an elbow strike. Jordan went for a Monkey Flip, but was dumped down and slingshotted throat first off the bottom rope for a near fall. T-Bone applied a tight sleeper hold, only to be hit with a jawbreaker. Jordan fought back with some desperate strikes before hitting a dropkick and staggering T-Bone.
A roll up was attempted, but it was blocked. Jordan was able to dodge an elbow drop and a shoulder tackle, but the crossbody was caught. T-Bone spent too much time playing around with Jordan, who slipped over the shoulders into a roll up. After struggling to block, T-Bone sat into a pinfall, only for Jordan to counter and steal the win!
Williams looked absolutely shocked at ringside, almost like he didn’t actually expect his partner to win! Can Amir Jordan string together a few more singles wins? Was Williams hoping that Jordan would end up injured against T-Bone out of spite for his healthy partner? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
