WWE Smackdown Results are looking forward to this, and having Sami Zayn on commentary makes it all the more entertaining. Hope he doesn’t take away from the match which he probably will.
Big E and Corbin locked up and they fought to a stalemate until Corbin slapped on a headlock and Big E sent him off the ropes.
They each hit with a shoulder block and neither of them moved, so Corbin went off the ropes again, and after Big E leap frogged him, he hit Corbin with a reverse elbow.
Big E locked in a front face lock and used a gator roll for a pin attempt.
Corbin hit with a kick and a clothesline when Big E telegraphed a backdrop. Corbin went for a pin attempt, then hammered away with elbows to Big E’s shoulder.
Corbin threw Big E through the ropes and into the ring post, then hammered on him some more before sending Big E into the ropes and hitting with a reverse elbow before going to a pin attempt.
Corbin hit with a right, and Big E threw him through the ropes, but Corbin caught him with a knee in the ropes when Big E went for a dive.
Big E then tried to send him into the turnbuckle, but Corbin slid under the ropes and came into the ring where Big E caught him in a Big Ending.
Zayn broke up the pin and the Knights went after Big E. Cutler and Blake were shoved back by Big E, but Zayn hit him from behind and they stomped on him until Apollo Crews came out.
Crews sent both Knights to the floor, then dodged a Helluva Kick by Zayne and press slammed him over the ropes and onto the Knights.
WWE Smackdown Results would’ve loved to see this match without the Zayn influence, but it looks like we’re back to the old tricks that stopped when Triple H took over.
It was a nice run.
Big E and Apollo Crews vs. Sami Zayn and King Corbin (w/The Knights of the Lone Wolf)
WWE Smackdown Results wished we were surprised, but of course, this match was sanctioned during the commercial break and was underway when we came back.
Zayn threw Crews into a corner, but Crews leaped over a charging Zayn and hit with a dropkick for a pin attempt.
Zayn hit an elbow to tag in Corbin and hit Crews with a kick to the midsection then threw him through the ropes.
Crews caught Corbin with a shoulder through the ropes, and Corbin caught him with a right when Crews tried to leap over the ropes.
Zayn then tagged himself in and Corbin didn’t look happy about it.
Zayn went after Crews and hit with a knee before tagging Corbin back in.
Corbin threw Crews into a corner and ran into a boot, but then hit Crews with a clothesline and threw him to the floor.
Corbin antagonized Big E to tie up the ref while the Knights dropped Crews with a cheap shot on the floor.

Corbin headed out of the ring and threw Crews into the ring and Zayn tagged himself in again, then threw Crews to the floor and expected the Knights to do for him what they did for Corbin.
Zayne threw Crews into the ring and demanded the Knights obey him. Crews hit a powerslam to buy some time.
Big E threw Corbin across the ring twice, then this a belly to belly slam before nailing a splash.
Corbin fought out of a Big Ending and hit a Deep Six for a near pinfall.
Outside the ring, Zayn continued arguing with the Knights and diverted Corbin’s attention as Crews tagged in. Corbin turned around in time to catch a pair of flying forearms.
Corbin nailed Crews and Zayn tagged himself in and a power struggled between the two of them began, and Corbin left Zayn to face his fate.
Crews ducked a Helluva Kick and hit a step up kick and hit a sit out powerbomb for the win.
Not a bad match, but WWE Smackdown Results have grown weary of the gimmick matches. At least it’s been a few weeks since they last did this.
We also wouldn’t mind seeing Corbin enter into a meaningful feud instead of being used to further everyone else’s.
Maybe this time he’ll take the next couple of weeks to destroy Zayn and tease us with a feud?
