Heading to his match, King Corbin was attacked from behind by Dominik Mysterio, surprising WWE Smackdown Results.
Dominik hammered and kicked away on Corbin against the barricade as we headed to commercial.
King Corbin vs. Dominik Mysterio
Rey Mysterio joined the announce team during the commercial break as Corbing picked Dominik up and slammed him onto a corner and hit several shoulders.
Dominik fought out of the corner, and Corbin shoved him back into it. Dominik reversed out of the corner and landed several blows on Corbin.
Corning grabbed him and threw him into the corner, but Dominik dodged Corbin’s ax handle, then he led Corbin in a brief chase out of the ring and back in and caught him with a kick as Corbin climbed through the ropes.
Dominik then hit a knee off the ropes to send Corbin to the floor, and followed it with another double knee on Corbin on the floor.
Dominik ducked a clothesline and landed some blows before Corbin caught him and slammed Dominik into the mat, and followed it with a reverse suplex.
Corbin nailed Dominik with a right, and made sure to look at Rey every time he did something to Dominik.
Corbin ran into a boot in the corner, but turned and hit a clothesline.
Dominik slipped out of another corner and Corbin hit the ring post. Dominik picked up the pace and hit a missile dropkick and hit a senton over the top rope for a near pinfall.
Dominik traded blows with Corbin, then hit with a kick and slung Corbin into the ropes.
Corbin caught Dominik’s 619 attempt, but Dominik held onto the ropes and landed o his feet when Corbin tried to pull him into the ring.
Dominik tried a hurricanrana, but Corbin powered out of it and went for a buckle bomb that Dominik turned into a hurricanrana and sent Corbin into the turnbuckle face first.
Corbin caught Dominik’s charge and sent him into the corner upside down. Corbin went for an End of Days off the ropes, but Dominik hit a tornado DDT for a near pinfall.
Corbin ducked a slingshot dropkick off the ropes and hung Dominik up on the ropes, then hit an End of Days for the pinfall.
After the match, Corbin grabbed Rey as he headed into the ring, and Rey slipped off his shoulder and Corbin hit the ring post.
Rey then hit a sit down senton off the apron to lay Corbin out.
Miz and Morrison pester
Backstage, Big E and Sonya Deville met up and Big E asked her to tell him what his Royal Rumble number was and gave her a dollar and promised an Arby’s coupon was coming her way.
The Miz and John Morrison interrupted the negotiations and greeted Deville and asked where Adam Pearce was.
She said that after last week he’s unavailable.
Big E asked them what they’re doing on Smackdown, and the Miz mentioned Owens and Reigns match at Royal Rumble, but things could become interesting tonight.
Morrison then pointed out how you can bet against stocks and he’s going to make a fortune.
Deville left them, and Big E tried to, but they decided mocking him was a good idea, so he called them over the hill and not having a chance to win the rumble.
A brawl broke out, but Big E more than held his own before officials ran in to break it up.
Sasha Banks’ wine problem
Sasha Banks was welcomed by Reginald with a bottle of wine. He claimed he came in peace and said the bottle was for her.
Carmella told him to pick the perfect bottle of wine to match her losing her championship.
Banks flirted with him, saying it may be how he speaks French or picks out the best wine, and asked him what’s the best wine she can buy Carmella for when she has a broken jaw.
She said she can’t wait to crush Carmella’s dreams like a grape and gave the bottle back to Reginald.
This was a cool promo by Sasha Banks, and WWE Smackdown Results think this was one of her best.
