Impact Wrestling Preview is all set for a fun night as there’s going to be plenty of excitement coming off the No Surrender pay-per-view.
There are going to be some new visitors to the Impact Zone as NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) stars Juice Robinson and David Finlay will pop in.
With the crossing over of so many wrestlers, it’s going to be fun seeing new rivalries develop, and we’re sure FinJuice will be looking to test the Impact tag team division.
Their top goal will be facing the Good Brothers for the Impact Tag Team Championship, but there are plenty of other teams that’ll want to face them first.
Most notably would be James Storm and Chris Sabin simply because they kept just missing out on the titles thanks to Private Party, but how much longer can they use that as an excuse?
Whoever FinJuice challenges, it’s going to be a fun match and we can’t wait to see how they shake up the Impact locker room.
X-Division Championship – TJP (c) vs. Josh Alexander
After each competitor had great matches that pushed their careers even higher, they’ll meet tonight for the X-Division Championship.
Josh Alexander has been making a good impression since entering singles competition, and after winning the Triple Threat Revolver Match he’s set to make an even bigger mark.
He can beat an opponent with his technical prowess and athleticism or beat them into submission, making him someone to keep an eye on as he continues his push.
His opponent has survived a great deal in recent memory, as TJP overcame a determined Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera at No Surrender to retain the X-Division title in what was a classic match.
It was the culmination of his and Rohit’s feud and now TJP can move onto his next challenger, who could also be his most difficult match as X-Division champion.
We expect this to be a great match as their skill sets a vastly different, but they both mesh well with others.
With that being said, we expect TJP to win this one and continue his reign. It feels too soon for him to lose it, and it’s debatable whether or not this is too early for Alexander to have a singles title.
There are plenty of arguments as to why Alexander should win, and we agree with them all. For us, it mainly comes down to TJP needing a longer reign.
We can see him losing it in a month or so, and that could end up being to Alexander as they could keep a minor feud going with the occasional hiccup like a mutual enemy.
We’ll have to wait and see, but one this is for sure, this could be the match of the night, and we’ll have to try not to blink of we’ll miss something.
