ODB made a memorable return last week when she ran in to help Jordynne Grace and Jazz against Deonna Purrazzo, Susan, and Kimber Lee and Impact Wrestling Preview loved it.
It’s fun to see an old favorite return to add to the storyline and not dominate it, and we think she’s going to add another dimension to the Knockouts Division for as long as she’s there.
This should be an interesting ride, and it’s going to start with a fun match against Kimber Lee.
While we have little doubt Lee will try to use every distraction her cohorts can manage to her benefit, and we think it’ll be enough for her to defeat the returning Knockout.
It’s safe to say that no one expects this to be a straight up one on one match as we expect Jordynn Grace and Jazz to be with her or close by, and that will make all the difference.
There should be a fun scrum on the floor between the four women, and it’ll be during that when Lee will get a cheap shot in on ODB for win.
Could she have more planned?
To be fair, we think this is how it’s going to go as ODB will work to put Lee over, but it’s also her first singles match with the company since 2019 and we’d love to see her win.
It’s what returning greats should do, but she can also do that by winning and a win here would add some more fun to this feud.
It mainly depends on how long ODB wants to remain with Impact Wrestling as she has a profitable food truck business as well.
She has said she’d love to wrestle Grace, Jazz, and Purrazzo, so we could be seeing her for a while and we’re excited to have her back for this match at least.
We have no doubt we’re going to see an entertaining match tonight, and it’ll be fun to see how the chase for the Knockouts Championship unfolds in the coming weeks as a result.
With the revitalization of the Knockouts division, the sky’s the limit at this point.
