Lacey Evans has revealed that she is pregnant following her admission on RAW and as such, she will no longer be participating in the wrestling world for the time being. The news capped off a tumultuous period, in what has been a shocking 24 hours in the wrestling business.
Lacey Evans Announces She Is Pregnant On WWE RAW!!
But the circumstances around the announcement were a bit bizarre. In a tag team match, Lacey avoided facing Charlotte Flair once she was tagged in. She walked away, grabbed the microphone and said she was pregnant. Therefore, she would not be engaging with Charlotte.
So was this all in jest? No, a source confirmed that the star was actually pregnant in real life: “Evans is legitimately pregnant. WWE learned of Evans’ pregnancy today and changed the direction of her angle with Charlotte Flair. Evans was scheduled to face Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view this Sunday.
“However, that match is now clearly not happening. WWE has yet to announce a replacement for Evans.” And equally, Mike Johnson said: “PWInsider.com is told Lacey Evans’ storyline announcement is art imitating life as she is indeed expecting,” while Ran Giri from Wrestling Inc backed that up:
“WWE learned of Evans’ pregnancy today and changed the direction of her angle with Charlotte Flair.” Ric Flair began to celebrate at the news hinting that he may be the father as part of the story line. Aside from the shocking announcement, how does Lacey feel about all of this?
Well, in a post-match confrontation, she had a few words for the cameraman. And naturally, the emotion got a bit too much for her. She told the cameraman the following: “You nasty thing, I said everything I wanted to say out there. Nasties like yourself need to learn to stay out of people’s business. Just know that I am very happy.”

After the comments, Lacey walked off with a massive grin on her face. The star then posted a message to her fans on Twitter, and she was ecstatic: “Life is a wild ride [ringed planet emoji] [nail polish emoji] Wooooooooooo!!!!! #WWERaw.”

But she also had a few words for Charlotte as she retweeted her message “Mood” in reference to the mass confusion following the pregnancy bombshell. She captioned the message with: “Wooooooooo #WWERaw”
