The feud between Ever-Rise & Bollywood Boyz will go down in history as one of the best tag team feuds in 205 Live history. We also don’t get many tag team feuds in 205 Live. However, they’ve buried the Hatchet to form a faction of sorts, and just need four men to face off with for an eight man tag team match! Instead, they just got Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari as they have no other friends to back them up. The BollyRise Foundation chose Matt Martel & Sunil Singh to represent them. Can this first time team of rivals win?
Some Early Hiccups From Martel & Singh Cause Issues
Nese would start alongside Singh, and they’d lock up with Nese winning out after getting the drop toehold. Singh was able to get a hammerlock, but Nese forced him back into the corner to break the hold off. Nese was dropped again with an armdrag, while on commentary Vic Joseph questioned who Nigel McGuniness is cheering for, as he’s normally hyping up every single man in the match. Nigel is just loving life, as four of the best under 205 Live go to work. We should all strive to be a bit more like Nigel.
Singh would be put onto the top rope by Nese, before kicking him off, jumping over and trying to bait him into the Crucifix, only to be countered. Nese tried for the gutbuster, Singh landed on his feet and applied the small package, getting a two count, before tagging in Martel. An arm wrench kept Nese down, before Martel took a knee to the gut and Daivari was tagged in. He’d call Martel a piece of trash while punching him down, only to take a back elbow as Martel tagged Singh back in.
As Martel & Singh tried for some tag team offense, they had a miscommunication, and a veteran team like Nese & Daivari will take an opening like that and sprint with it. Singh would find himself getting isolated, as quick tags were made and double team moves were easily launched. After a waist lock from Nese, and Daivari being tagged in, Singh countered a double back drop, took Nese out of the ring and rolled past Daivari to get Martel back into the mix.
Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari Sneak The Win
Martel came in with a heart full of fire, taking out Daivari with a back elbow and dropkick, before hitting Nese with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Daivari was next to be thrown across the ring, and the flapjack was set up before Daivari slipped off the shoulders and took the DDT for a two count. Singh would be tagged in, and they’d work together with a combo in the corner. Singh hit the back elbow, Daivari stumbled into the drop toe hold, and Singh went up top for that diving elbow drop for a near fall thanks to Nese.
Martel took Nese out of the ring, before being tagged back in. Nese was back in, attacked Martel from behind and allowed Daivari to get the reverse DDT, before Singh was taken out on the outside. Daivari tried to use that gold chain, but was caught by the referee. Martel went for the roll up, but left himself open for the Running Nese from Tony Nese. Daivari gets the pinfall, and that’s a horrible start for The BollyRise Foundation.
Should Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari get more tag team spotlight outside of 205 Live? Will The BollyRise Foundation survive this first loss? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
