WWE Raw Preview is all set for the fallout from last night’s Royal Rumble, and it looks like it’s going to be interesting to see what’s going to come of it.
While it was predictable that Edge would win it, it also sends a signal that the powers that be don’t have faith in the full time roster talent to get a push.
That’s not surprising as fans have been lukewarm at best toward the current product at best, and it feels like they missed some great opportunities with Cesaro and others.
Tonight we expect to find out or at least be given a hint on which championship Edge will be going for at WrestleMania.
At the moment, he has no reason to go after Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre as his entire storyline has been about facing Randy Orton.

Edge’s future
It’s definitely possible that they’ll have Edge target McIntyre as it’d be a great challenge and so on, which would build toward either Orton reclaiming the title from McIntyre or a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania.
This isn’t anything new in professional wrestling as it happens all the time due to injuries, firings, etc.
The problem is, it leaves a lot of talent sitting to the side scratching their heads.
Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Braun Strowman are just some of the names that few would’ve had a problem with winning the Royal Rumble and it would’ve played into current storylines.
Now, we have to wait and see.
Keeping us guessing could be the reasoning behind the move, or we can expect Orton to defeat McIntyre in the near future for Edge to challenge him for the WWE Championship.
Next for McIntyre
After winning a bad match of constant finishers with Goldberg, Drew McIntyre will set his sights on his next challenger.
We’ve been waiting for him and Sheamus to face off for the WWE Championship, but with Braun Strowman’s return, we think the Monster Among Men will be next.
Rather, he should be.
Strowman was a good Universal Champion and his mic skills really improved during his feud with Bray Wyatt, and he and McIntyre could have a really entertaining feud and couple of matches.
As fun as this sounds, WWE Raw Preview expects Orton to throw his hat in the ring just because, and it’ll lead to a match between Orton, Strowman, and whomever else is interested for another gimmick match tonight.
Personally, we’d love to see Strowman challenge for the next month or two and leave Orton feuding with Wyatt and Alexa Bliss.
