WWE Raw Results weren’t surprised when Edge came out to tease us with an announcement on who he’ll face at WrestleMania. We expect this for the next few weeks.
Edge wasted no time in reiterating how he has a difficult decision on who to face at WrestleMania and that’s why he came to Raw last week, plus to finish his business with Orton as weakly as possible.
He said he had a handle on it, but now that’s changed with McIntyre’s Elimination Chamber match.
A few things are still the same, but he doesn’t know who will walk out of the chamber the champion and he likes his odds against all of them, but he doesn’t like McIntyre’s odds at retaining.
So, it doesn’t make sense for him to make his decision and he’ll wait for the dust to settle from the Elimination Chamber to make his decision.
The Mix, John Morrison, and Angel Garza came out and Miz told him the speech reeked of awesomeness, but Edge has always been a great opportunist.
Miz said he’s more of a strategizer and said even if Edge’s comeback leads to him winning the championship at WrestleMania, he’ll be there to cash in his MITB contract and leave as champion.
Edge said he’s the guy that put the MITB contract on the match and he knows he needs eyes in the back of his head, and how he was being the master manipulator and the Miz told him everything he’s going to do.
He said he did the being awesome thing 20 years ago and he needs to see this through and be the champion and told Miz to think about it.
This may just be WWE Raw Results, but could we please bury the MITB storyline and forget it ever existed by stopping the gimmick for a few years? Please?
Damian Priest w/Bad Bunny vs. Angel Garza w/The Miz and John Morrison
WWE Raw Results have been waiting for this as it should be a good match. Priest wasted no time in hitting a kick that sent Garza across the ring and he continued hit assault in the corner.
Priest through him into the ropes but ducked too fast and ate a kick, but then hit a dropkick for a pin attempt.
We feel it’s important to note that Garza still has his pants on.
Priest choked him out on the ropes, and Garza poked him in the eye to get free. Garza then hit a shoulder block, clothesline, and dropkick for a pin attempt.
Garza then choked him on the ropes, and Miz nailed Priest with a right while Garza had the referee distracted.
Bad Bunny didn’t like it and got on the apron, and Garza finally removed his pants and threw them into Bad Bunny’s face.
Garza slapped on a knee lock on Priest, and Priest pounded his way out, the countered a right with his own right as he snapped.
A series of kicks dropped Garza, and a clothesline off the ropes dropped Garza.
Priest took aim and hit a leaping elbow, but Miz and Morrison distracted him and Garza clotheslined Priest over the top rope.
Miz and Morrison stomped on Priest as Garza again distracted the ref, so Bunny grabbed the MITB briefcase and drew Morrison his way.
Bunny threw the briefcase into the ring and Morrison went in and grabbed it as the referee turned. The referee then banned Morrison and the Miz from ringside.
Garza was focused on Bunny and Priest hit him with a bell clap and the Reckoning for the win.
McIntyre’s ready
Backstage, Charly Caruso asked McIntyre for his reaction to Adam Pearce changing his match at the Elimination Chamber.
McIntyre said things change on the Road to WrestleMania and said anything can happen, like last week with Sheamus.
He added that there was no need for Sheamus to tear up a 20 year friendship for a championship match when he would’ve been given one if he’d just asked.
He then said he’s got to focus on Randy Orton since Orton will want to injure him so he can’t complete. He then went on how he’s got a huge target on him and dares anyone to come after him.
Belair plays coy
Charly Caruso interviewed Bianca Belair about her Royal Rumble match and her plans for which championship to challenge for.
Belair was asked how Evans facing Asuka at the Elimination Chamber changes her plans, and she said she’s not going to reveal who she’s going to face.
It could be Sasha Banks, Asuka, or Lacey Evans.
Asuka came up and congratulated her for winning the Royal Rumble but said she’s not ready for Asuka.
Belair said she’s ready, but Lacey Evans isn’t ready and if Asuka handles her business she may be seeing more of Belair on Raw.
Whomever she faces, WWE Raw Results expects a great match.
