Last week we saw a major shift in the faction structure of AEW. MJF had joined the Inner Circle, but not to take it over. He always had a group waiting in his back pocket for the right moment, and was just looking to set The Inner Circle up. Last week, MJF, FTR, Shawn Spears, Wardlow & Tully Blanchard annihilated The Inner Circle, and that will only be the beginning for this new group.
Everything Went According To Plan
Tully Blanchard would start the talking, and say it’s great to be standing with the group who took out the Inner Circle. He’d recount where everyone was laid out, including Chris Jericho. They’ve already climbed the mountain to the top of this great sport, and Tully knows what it’s like to be on top.
Tully started his career in one of the greatest groups in professional wrestling history, and that’s how he’ll end it as well. MJF got the microphone and called himself Judas. Pretending to like Jericho is a hard task. Waiting in the background for six months with Jericho was torture, but all so worth it in the end.
MJF Introduces The Pinnacle
MJF played the game perfectly, fed into the comedy and jokes, and now he’s taken out one of the biggest names in professional wrestling history. He convinced the world he wanted to take over the faction, but he just wanted to end it and build a faction even stronger.
MJF has the greatest mind in professional wrestling in Tully Blanchard, the greatest tag team in FTR, a tank of a powerhouse in Wardlow and one of the most underrated wrestlers in Shawn Spears. They are The Pinnacle, and they are led by the fasting rising star in professional wrestling today.
At 24 years old, MJF is already this good, and will get better with age. He’s got a good 25 years on top, and will be among the greatest of all time when he’s done. Alongside the Pinnacle, he will be the backbone of AEW for years to come, as they take what they want, when they want. First thing they’re taking is the Inner Circles private locker room.
