We’ve finally reached the moment Impact Wrestling Sacrifice Preview expected since Moose set his sights on Rich Swann, and it’s going to be a great one.

Moose has called himself the true champion since finding and claiming the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and now is his moment to prove he is what he says he is.

It’s not going to be easy as Rich Swann is a phenomenal athlete in his own right and has been a good Impact World Champion.

This will be a fun matchup with their different styles as Swann prefers a more athletic, aerial style compared to Moose’s in your face brutality, and this should push both of them to new heights.

For us, we don’t see a way out of this for Moose except to win as he’s been touting himself as the real champion for a year, and if he loses he’s back to where he was.

That’ll give him a sense of urgency he hasn’t had yet.

For Swann, he could try to simply survive Moose’s onslaught since the pressure will be on him to win, but that’s not his style.

Instead, Impact Wrestling Sacrifice Preview expects Swann to take the fight to Moose and hit him with everything he can.

Unification and title for title

We expect both men to lay it all on the line as this match will unify the TNA and Impact world championships to make one of them the true champion, but there’s more at stake.

Scott D’Amore announced that not only will the titles be unified, but the winner will face AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a title for title match at Rebellion on April 24.

This has numerous possibilities as it’ll open the gates to each company’s top championship being open to others like has been done in New Japan and elsewhere, but it’ll also create some much needed buzz.

AEW has been floundering lately with their lackadaisical Dynamite episodes and the botch ending to AEW Revolution and this could give them as big a jolt as it will Impact Wrestling.

Kenny Omega is another great athlete and he’ll match up well with Swann, but it could prove interesting to see how he’ll do against a monster like Moose.

For that reason, we think Moose will win against Swann and unify the titles and go on to what should be a dominant run as champion.

We don’t know who will win at Rebellion, but it’d be nice if Impact’s champion won a match against Omega at some point.
