Impact Wrestling Preview loves nothing more than a good feud, especially when it get reignited in an awesome way.
A couple of weeks ago, Fire ‘N Flava wanted to start their Knockouts Tag Team Championship reign in style with a party.
It makes sense since it was also the return of the Knockout tag titles, but things went a little haywire when Nevaeh (dressed as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man) and Havok party crashed.
It reignited a feud that began shortly after Nevaeh arrived in Impact Wrestling, and it’s now back in full swing.
With Havok’s win over Tasha Steelz last week, it’s now up to Nevaeh to make it a sweep or for Kiera Hogan to even the score.
This should be a fun match and we expect some fun back and forths as Steelz and Hogan will give their own commentary, and we think Nevaeh will pull out the win.
It just feels right as it’ll put the tag champions on their heels heading into a title match possibly at No Surrender, and it’ll also make that match all the more enticing.
Rich Swann and Tommy Dreamer Contract Signing
Impact Wrestling Preview always expects a contract signing to end in an explosive confrontation, but it’ll be different this time.
Swann is giving this title shot to Dreamer as a thank you and birthday present for “The Innovator of Violence” for his 50th birthday.
So nothing is expected to blow up between them as this should be a respectful and touching moment.
But Moose and Chris Bey will probably be in the house and they haven’t kept their desires to be the Impact World Champion a secret.
This could lead to an altercation or even Bey trying to convince Swann to make it a triple threat or fatal four way match. Though that may be a little too much WWE style.
Tag Team Championship – The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) vs. Chris Sabin and James Storm
This should be an awesome match and Impact Wrestling Preview can’t wait for it.
With that being said, we also don’t expect it to go off without a hitch. While we don’t think Kenny Omega will be there, we will be surprised if Private Party doesn’t play a role in it somehow.
It’s make sense after the Good Brothers mentioned messing with their match last week, but direct interference seems a little too meh with their title match next week, but you never know.
Now we’re not saying they won’t be at ringside as a distraction, but we doubt if it’ll be more than that.
We’d love nothing more than no interference as we want to see these four go at it full speed. Both teams are a good mix of styles and we doubt they can put on a non-entertaining match.
As for the winners, logic would say to go with the Good Brothers. They’re on too much of a roll lately when it comes to in ring action, but there is a possible twist.
Upset territory
Simply because they lost to Private Party previously, we’re going with Sabin and Storm to win to make the championship match at No Surrender all the more interesting.
It’ll make the outcome all the more unpredictable at the event and could build some nice anticipation with an AEW Dynamite episode on between now and then.
