It has been officially announced that tonight Bobby Lashley and the remainder of the Hurt Business will celebrate the aforementioned superstar’s first world title win in WWE. It promises to be a huge segment on the show tonight, and one that could potentially put the wheels in motion for a huge title match at WrestleMania next month.
But, the WWE Universe will be aware that title celebrations very rarely go through without a hitch, which means that it’s hugely likely that a superstar on the Raw roster will get involved during the party. But, which superstar is that likely to be?
WWE News: Drew McIntyre
It would appear incredibly likely that the superstar that comes out to crash Lashley’s party will be the former champion, Drew McIntyre. Lashley cost the Scot his WWE Championship a month ago, and he has immediately set his sights back on regaining the most illustrious prize in the whole of the WWE.
McIntyre was kept at a distance from the WWE Championship picture last week, but it would be unlikely that he will be keeping his distance tonight after ending his recent programme with Sheamus after a pulsating contest between the two stars. There is a strong indication that Lashley/McIntyre is the route the WWE are going in for Mania this year, and the first stones could be put in place tonight.
WWE News: Brock Lesnar
We are going to the complete opposite end of the spectrum with our next prediction, as we haven’t seen Brock Lesnar for nearly a year. However, Lashley has constantly reminded fans that a showdown with the former UFC star is his dream match in the WWE, and this is potentially the closest that we have ever seen the two stars stepping the ring to face one another.
There are still rumours that Lesnar could be involved in the title match this year, but it is unlikely that he will be the one to show up on Raw this evening.
WWE News: The Miz
You would be forgiven for thinking that The Miz has probably had enough of Lashley following his dominant defeat on Raw last week. But, the A-Lister made yet have the goal for himself to regain the title that he lost after just a couple of weeks.
A rematch between the two would be something that would make sense, as Lashley will be on the lookout for an opponent for the upcoming PPV, and another victory would help him to look dominant ahead of Mania season.
