This should be a good match after WWE Raw Results missed out on it being for the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
The match started as Sheamus went after McIntyre and nailing him with several rights and clubbing blows.
McIntyre grabbed Sheamus and threw him in the corner while the referee separated them and pounded on him a little, then whipped him into the ropes and hit a reverse elbow for a pin attempt.
McIntyre hit Sheamus with a kick in a corner, and Sheamus then hit a kick and a right before dropping McIntyre with a short clothesline and a knee drop off the second rope for a pin attempt.
Sheamus then locked in an armbar, but McIntyre got to his feet and fought out of the hold to hit a snap suplex, and then hit a right and a stomp.
McIntyre whipped him into a corner, but Sheamus grabbed McIntyre’s foot and took McIntyre down and hit a couple of stomps to the midsection and a knee to McIntyre’s face before locking on an armbar.
Sheamus hit a series of elbows on McIntyre’s chin and then went for a pin attempt.
Sheamus hit with a kick and slapped on a side headlock, and McIntyre backed him into the ropes.
Somehow, Sheamus slipped his head under the ropes, and McIntyre pounded on him with a right and then clubbing blows ala Sheamus.
Sheamus pulled McIntyre through the ropes and to the floor to buy himself some time, then caught McIntyre on the apron with a knee and some rights before a couple of kidney shots.
McIntyre hit a handful of elbows to avoid the clubbing blows, but Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick off the ropes to send McIntyre to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Carbon copies
WWE Raw Results returned from commercial, and they’re back in the ring with Sheamus in control and hammering on McIntyre with elbows before grinding McIntyre into the mat with a knee.
McIntyre hit a handful of elbows and chops, but Sheamus hit an Irish Curse backbreaker for a near pinfall.
After a knee to the back, Sheamus tore at McIntyre’s face, then hit a stomp and another couple of kicks.
Sheamus then choked McIntyre out on the bottom rope and hit with a kick to the ribs before he dropped a knee into McIntyre’s jaw.
McIntyre was on the apron, and Sheamus turned him around for clubbing blows. McIntyre rolled into the ring and they exchanged chops.
McIntyre hit a clothesline out of the corner and another before he hit a belly to belly suplex off the ropes.
McIntyre clothesline Sheamus over the top rope to the floor, and Sheamus pulled McIntyre out of the ring and McIntyre’s back hit the apron.
McIntyre then shoved Sheamus into the ring post and belly to belly suplexed him onto the announce desk.
McIntyre rolled into the ring to avoid the count out, then back to the floor to break the count.
He hit a suplex slam on the announce table, then threw him into the ring.
McIntyre headed to the top ropes and his a clothesline for a near pinfall.
McIntyre then went for a Future Shock DDT, but Sheamus countered it and hit a clothesline to buy some time.
Sheamus headed to the tope rope as McIntyre kipped up and hit a Glasgow Kiss, then hit a superplex for a near pinfall as we headed to commercial.
Thinking alike
Back from commercial, both were on their knee exchanging chops and blows as they got to their feet.
Sheamus went for a White Noise but McIntyre slipped out of it and rolled Sheamus up for a pin attempt.
McIntyre followed that with a spinebuster and jackknife cover for a pin attempt.
Sheamus drove McIntyre into a corner and hit a knee strike for a near pinfall, and followed that with a White Noise for another pin attempt.
McIntyre countered a Cloverleaf into a rollup for a pin attempt, then hit a Future Shock DDT for yet another near pinfall.
Sheamus rolled to the apron to avoid a Claymore, then he hung McIntyre up on the top rope and he headed to the top.
McIntyre fought is way out of the hold and hit a White Noise on Sheamus from the middle rope for a near pinfall.
Sheamus blocked a Future Shock DDT and hit an Alabama Slam for a near pinfall.
McIntyre countered a Brogue Kick with a Claymore for the win. This was an awesome ending and WWE Raw Results loved it.
This was a pay-per-view caliber match and should be the match of the night. This is also the match that we should’ve gotten at Elimination Chamber if some didn’t decide games were better.
