Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and thank you for joining us as tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one as Rhea Ripley’s expected to make her main roster debut and we begin the final stretch to WrestleMania.
We’ll be back and buckled up for the show at it’s 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Sheamus
This was a solid back and forth with Lashley having the edge but Sheamus held his own until the rest of the Hurt Business came out.
Before we headed to commercial, Benjamin his Sheamus with a clothesline on the floor while Alexander kept the ref busy.
Segment 2
Lashley won with the Hurt Lock after Alexander distracted Sheamus.
Benjamin and Alexander pulled Sheamus to the floor after the match and beat him down and McIntyre came out and took care of them before daring Lashley to take a shot at him.
MVP managed to talk Lashley down and he left the ring.
Segment 3
A recap of Randy Orton‘s match against Alexa Bliss last night played, and it was announced that Orton will summon the Fiend later tonight.
Segment 4
Asuka vs. Peyton Royce
This started out as a cool athletic mat game that evolved into some slick moves in the ropes before Asuka missed a hip attack and Royce slammed her to the apron and floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
Asuka won a great match with an Asuka Lock, making us wonder what took them so long to ley Royce do her thing.
Rhea Ripley then came out and challenged Asuka to a championship match at WrestleMania, and Asuka accepted.
Segment 6
Miz TV had a dis track from Miz and John Morrison to Bad Bunny, and the Miz challenged Bad Bunny to a match at WrestleMania.
Um… yeah. For some reason we’re not surrpised.
Segment 7
The Miz w/John Morrison vs. Jeff Hardy
This was a pretty solid match the Miz won with a Skull Crushing Finale.
After the match, Bad Bunny hit the Miz with a guitar and accepted his WrestleMania challenge.
The Miz looked pissed, but just wait until he loses to Bad Bunny at WrestleMania.
Segment 8
AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods
Well, this segment was mainly a verbal back and forth and Kingston and Woods pointed out how Styles doesn’t know anything about Omos and there can’t be trust.
Style then mocked the New Day’s saying by chanting, “AJ rocks” as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
The match finally started and it was a slow grinding style by Kingston as he focused on headlocks and other maneuvers.
Outside the ring, Styles threw Kingston into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
Woods blared his trombone in Styles’ ear when he was attempting a Phenomenal Forearm, and Kingston hit an SOS for the win.
Segment 11
Two on One Handicap Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander
McIntyre dominated early on, but the numbers eventually caught up to him and they double team threw him into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
McIntyre eventually won a great match after hitting both with a Claymore and pinning Alexander.
Segment 13
Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke vs. Nia Jaz and Shayna Baszler w/Reginald
This was a decent match, but it felt disjointed as the focus seemed more on Reginald and Lana and Naomi’s commentary at ringside than the actual match.
Still, it was an impressive win as, thanks in part to Reginald, Jax hit a Samoan Drop on Brooke for the win
Segment 14
A recap of Shane McMahon‘s “injury” last night and Elias facing Strowman was shown, and then Elias and Shane sang a song they wrote called “Braun is Stupid.”
Oh, Elias will face Braun Strowman next.
Segment 15
Braun Strowman vs. Elias w/Jaxson Ryker and Shane McMahon
Whelp, this was as one sided as a match can get as Strowman won with a running powerslam.
Shane then hit Strowman from behind with his crutch. The crutch didn’t survive and Strowman felt nothing.
Shane ran off on a healthy knee, and Strowman challenged him to a one on one match at WrestleMania.
Shane accepted and told Strowman he can have any match he wants, and that Shane will wim because Strowman’s stupid.
At least this feud should be short?
Segment 16
Randy Orton summons the Fiend. Um…
The Uber Fiend showed up and Orton doused him in gasoline, then hit an RKO.
Orton then stared down Alexa Bliss. The Uber Fiend got to his feet and slapped a Mandible Claw on Orton, and then hit a Sister Abigail before Bliss pointed to the WrestleMania sign and it burst into flames.
This ending is pretty much when we expected and Orton and the Fiend will finish things at WrestleMania.
This was a pretty good show overall, and we really enjoyed it. What was your favorite moment? let us know in the comments below, and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results.
