Seeing as 205 Live only has three consistent tag teams, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari & The Bollywood Boyz wrestle. Infact, their last tag team matches were against each other on the March 24th, 2021 episode of 205 Live. Nese & Daivari won that night, and tonight doesn’t look that good for Bollywood Boyz, who last won a tag team match in November 2020. Can they finally get another win?
Sumir Singh Gets Completely Isolated
Before the match, Tom Phillips got welcomed to 205 Live by having to dance with Bollywood Boyz, which was just some slight shoulder shrugging. They were not happy that Vic Joesph was gone, or to see that Daivari & Nese have matching gear. Maybe this team is finally going somewhere.
Sumir would start with Nese, but a distraction from Daivari let Nese hit a knee strike and start this match on the right foot. Sumir was put into the corner, and Daivari tagged in to chop him down before throwing him shoulder first into the top turnbuckle. A Cobra Clutch would be applied, before Daivari just threw him down to the mat.
Nese got a tag, and applied the side headlock. Sumir went for the sunset flip, and managed to dodge a spin kick from Nese to get a two count off a roll up. He would keep fighting and nail a Tornado DDT, but Daivari landed between him and a tag. This slowed him enough that Sunil was yanked off the apron by Nese outside.
Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari Are Starting To Gel As A Team
Sumir would remain isolated until he was able to counter a suplex into a neckbreaker, and got closer to Sunil. The tag was finally made, and Sunil took out both men with a diving axe handle and running wheel kick. He’d fight Daivari into the corner, but get put on the top rope for a superplex. Daivari was fought off, and Sunil hit a diving lariat.
Sumir got a tag and the Bollywood Boyz hit a modified Hart Attack for a near fall. A double superkick to Daivari took him out, and Bollywood Blast to Nese got a two count before Daivari broke the pinfall up by pulling Sumir out of the ring.
As Sumir was getting back into the ring he was hit with a running knee strike, and that was followed up with the proper Running Nese in the corner for the win. Could Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari get a shot at MSK? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
