Carmella has ignited rumours that she could be set to Monday Night Raw after a tweet was sent out on Monday. The current SmackDown superstar has been underused since her return to the ring five months ago, and despite competing for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks, she has found it hard to find a regular spot on the roster.
Her return was set to be a big moment in her career, but fast forward five months and she was used on the Mania card in a tag team turmoil match instead of one of the featured matches on the card.

A fan speculated on social media this week that she could move to Raw, as red is a colour that suits her. Carmella responded by posting a very cryptic post, which seemed to indicate that it would be something that she would be willing to consider. A move could be something that would benefit her, as she could thrive after being given a fresh start on a new brand.

There would be many positives for mixing up the women’s division slightly on both brands, as the recent releases have left a void in the talent on both Raw and SmackDown. Among the female superstars released last week were Mickie James, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay.
WWE News: What Would Carmella Bring To Raw
Carmella is one of the most talented female superstars on the roster, which means that there would undeniably be a space for her on the Raw roster. The main event in the women’s division on the red brand looks set to be dominated for a couple of months with the ongoing feud involving Asuka, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley, but once that is over, it would be difficult to see which direction Raw would head in.
Adding Carmella into the mix could offer a safe pair of hands for the next title match, as it is a spot that she has had success throughout her career. Alexa Bliss’ continued development as a character also adds intrigue to the Raw roster, as it will be interesting to see the first superstar that she looks to take on. A secondary feud on the Raw roster for the female superstars would be an excellent advancement, and adding Carmella would only give the roster an increased chance of doing that, as there would be more talent on offer.
